New Years Day 5K & Kids Run

🎉 Welcome to the Fifth Annual New Year's Day Membership Run!

Our Fifth Annual Utica Roadrunners New Year’s Day Membership Run will occur on January 1, 2025!

💸 Free for Members!

• Cost: This race is FREE for anyone who is a Utica Roadrunner Club Member on 1/1/25. Make sure that you are signed up or renew your membership TODAY!
• Membership Update: You'll need to have your membership already updated at this link to get the discount making your run FREE!
• Non-Members: Non-members are invited to join this run for $12.
• Membership Advantage: If you sign up for membership by January 31st, 2024, you’ll receive a $12 credit toward any of our 4 major races or the 4-Pack Challenge!

📍 Race Location & Details

• Place: Accelerate Sports Complex - 5421 Judd Rd. Whitesboro
• Registration: Day-of Registration starts at 8:30 AM. Anyone signed up online only needs to check in.
• Raffle Tickets: Check in to receive a raffle ticket for door prizes. Wear UR gear to get a second ticket!
• Prizes: All raffle prizes will be pulled during the run, and you can check in to see if you won anything when you return.

🏃‍♂️ Kids Run Information

Kids Run - 9:15 a.m.

• Options: There will be two runs to choose from (1 Lap or 2 Laps around the elevated track).
• Prizes: All kids that run will receive a prize!
• Cost: All kids run FREE!

🏅 5K Race Details

5K - 10 a.m.

• Route: The run is set up as an out and back, starting on Judd Rd. by the Kurt Wyman Park Entrance.
• Turn Points: Runners will turn at Halsey Rd. and Gibson Rd.
• Water Station: One water station is located at the turn around at the Whitestown Park Entrance.
• Traffic: Roads will be open to cars, so please note traffic and stick to the right.

🍽️ Post Run Refreshments

After the run, we will gather inside Accelerate. They have generously staffed the facility for us, and we encourage all runners to use their smoothie and coffee bar for post race refreshments!

• Cash: Please bring a few dollars for your favorite post run snack.
• Facility Tour: This run is also a great time to get a view/tour of Accelerate!
• Special Discounts: Accelerate has extended the following discount to all Utica Roadrunners members:
• Individual Annual Track Membership - $50, Family Annual Track Membership - $75. Sign up using the Utica Roadrunners Track Membership Registration Form.
