Event Overview
- Scenic Route: Come follow in Connor’s footsteps on a beautiful scenic five-mile wooded trail in the foothills of the Adirondacks.
- Celebration: Celebrate the beauty of nature as you run or walk through five miles of seasonal roads and trails.
- Memory: Follow in the shadow of the young man who loved to run around the lake and the woods of Hinckley for the love of running.
- Community Impact: Celebrate life, nature, and community as you help fund a memorial and scholarship in Connor’s name, touching the lives of future local doctors.
Fundraising Purpose
- All Proceeds: All proceeds will go to the scholarship and memorial fund created in memory of Connor Arthur Lynskey.
- Aspiration: Connor aspired to be a physician and his dream was to practice medicine in an underserved area to help residents receive adequate health care.
- Mission: Our mission is to continue to provide students and medical students with a scholarship program.
- Support: This will be done with your financial support and through our memorial run/walk in Connor's name.
Race Details
- Date & Time: Our 5M race will be held on Sunday, September 20th at 10am.
- Virtual Event: The virtual event will go on from September 20th-26th.
- Registration: Registration is online only, no paper or cash accepted.
- Kids Fun Run: Try our kids fun run, an untimed event beginning at 9:30 am on race day. Free shirt included with registration through 9/4 only.
Shirt Availability
- Registration Deadline: For all events, if you register after 9/4, there are only a limited number of shirts available per size.
- Shirt Status: If there are no longer shirts available in a particular size, it will be noted as "SOLD OUT".
- Virtual Event Shirts: Virtual Event participants who register by 9/4 will receive their shirt by race day.
- Post-Registration Shirts: Participants who register after 9/4 will receive their shirts in mid to late October.
Packet Pick-up
- Date: Friday 9/18 – 4pm-7pm
- Location: Holland Patent High School, 8079 Thompson R., Holland Patent, NY 13354
- Race Day Registration: Registration & Packet pickup from 8:00 – 9:30
- Kids Run Start Time: Kids Run at 9:30, Welcome at 9:40, Run/Walk at 10:00, Awards at 11:30.
Transportation
- Parking: Parking in the village of Hinckley.
- Shuttle Bus: Shuttle bus available from 7:45 – 10:00 to the Race Start & Event Area.
