Connor's Way Scenic Memorial 5-Mile Run/Walk

🌲 Event Overview

Come follow in Connor’s footsteps on a beautiful scenic five-mile wooded trail in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Celebrate the beauty of nature as you run or walk through five miles of seasonal roads and trails. Follow in the shadow of the young man who loved to run around the lake and the woods of Hinckley for the love of running. Celebrate life, nature and community as you help fund a memorial and scholarship in Connor’s name, touching lives of future local doctors. This is “Connor’s Way”...

🎓 Purpose of the Event

• Proceeds: All proceeds will go to the scholarship and memorial fund created in memory of Connor Arthur Lynskey.
• Aspiration: Connor aspired to be a physician and his dream was to practice medicine in an underserved area in order to help residents receive adequate health care.
• Mission: Our mission is to continue to provide students and medical students with a scholarship program.
• Support: Your financial support helps through our memorial run/walk in Connor's name.

📅 Race Details

• Date: Our 5M race will be held on Sunday, September 21st at 10am.
• Virtual Event: The virtual event will go on from September 21st-28th.
• Registration: Registration is online only, no paper or cash accepted.
• Fee Increase: $5 fee increase on Friday September 19th.

👶 Kids Fun Run

New this year is our kids fun run. An untimed event beginning at 9:30 am on race day. Free shirt included with registration through 9/3 only. Sign up online through packet pickup on 9/19.

🏁 Race Day Schedule

• Registration: 8:00 – 9:30
• Kids Run: 9:30
• Welcome: 9:40
• Run/Walk: 10:00
• Awards: 11:30 (runners may pick up medals prior to awards ceremony)

🚗 Parking and Shuttle Service

Parking in the village of Hinckley – Shuttle bus available from 7:45 – 10:00 to the Race Start & Event Area.
