Poverello House Papa Mikes Cafe Run for Meals

Event Overview

Join us on June 6th at Woodward Park at Sunset View Shelter to support the work Poverello House provides to those in need. Bring your family and friends to participate in the 12th Annual Papa Mike's Café Run for Meals 5k Run and 2-Mile Run/Walk. Proceeds will benefit the new Papa Mike's Café.

Papa Mike's Café Mission

• Purpose: We are dedicated to providing a restaurant-style experience for all individuals in our community.
• Ambiance: We ensure a warm ambiance and attentive service to make every visitor feel at home.
• Inspiration: Inspired in 2006 to offer special meals to clients, enhancing community engagement.
• Development: Achieved through extensive planning and renovations supported by generous community contributions.

Dining Experience

Guests will enter the restaurant and have the option to choose from a menu offering 3-5 delectable meal options, accompanied by a choice of refreshing Coca-Cola beverages.

• Breakfast Menu: Breakfast Burrito, Biscuits and Gravy, Chicken and Waffles.
• Lunch/Dinner Menu: Papa Mike's Burger, BBQ Burger, Chicken Tender Sandwich, Pastrami Panini Sandwich, Three-Taco Plate, Loaded Asada Fries, and much more!

Race Schedule

• 2 Mile Run/Walk: Begins at 8:00 AM.
• 5K Race: Starts at 8:15 AM.
• Parking Fee: Woodward Park Parking Fee $5.00.

Packet Pick-Up Information

Day Before Packet Pick-Up:

• Date: Friday, June 5th, 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.
• Location: The Bike Shop @ Woodward Park, 9433 N Fort Washington Rd Ste 102, Fresno, CA 93730.
• Note: You can collect a packet on behalf of someone else, or another registrant can collect one for you.

Race Day Packet Pick-Up:

• Date: Saturday, June 6th, at 7:15 am.
• Location: Woodward Park, Sunset Shelter.
• Children: Young children are welcome, and no sign-up is required. Sign-up is only required for those 12 and under for timed results and a t-shirt.

Registration Benefits

• T-Shirt: Each registered participant will receive a t-shirt.
• Breakfast Burrito: Included in your registration.
• Refreshments: Available at the event.
• Awards: 5K Run Award Ceremony for the Top 3 in various age categories.
