Na Heihei A Ola - Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run

Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the 48th Annual Waimea Town Celebration Fun Run: Na Heihei a Ola. We have 3 distances to choose from and we can't wait to see you all there!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Friday, February 21st
• Location: Come down to the Ho'olaulea at the Old Waimea Mill to pickup your shirt/bib packet. We will be there from 4-9pm and taking last registrations
• Note: Registration closes at the end of the evening on Friday 21st at 9pm so don't procrastinate!
• Alternative Pickup: If you cannot make it to pickup on Friday, please ensure you arrive early enough on Saturday prior to the race

🏁 Race Day Info

• CHECK IN: begins at 5:30am at Waimea Plantation Cottages (parking is available along the highway and across the street by the park)
• Buses: Once you are ready, buses will take participants to the starting area at Pa'ula'ula to wait/get warmed up etc.
  • Parking: NO parking at Pa'ula'ula - if you walk or get dropped off to the starting line there will be no transportation back up there after the event
  • Bus Items: Only take what you will run with on the bus
• LAST BUS: departs the Cottages at 6:30am
• Race Start: is at 7am

🛣️ Route Info

• Start Point: ALL walkers/runners start at Pa'ula'ula, run down the Waimea Bridge and through town
  • Waimea Bridge will be closed from 7:00-7:15am to allow all participants to pass, then single lane closure through Waimea
• 2K Route: proceed through town, turn left into the Waimea Plantation Cottages entrance, and over the finish line to the right side of the main office
• 5K Route: proceed through town and pass the Cottages, continue towards the Kikiaola small boat harbor, turn at the 5K Turnaround flag, return to the Cottages, turn right into the entrance and cross the finish line to the right side of the main office
• *10K UPDATED*: proceed through town and turn left at the Sacred Hearts church road before the Cottages. Proceed along the road and onto the upper beach road. This path is flat but mixed terrain of packed sand, dirt, and grass. You will continue along the beautiful path towards the Harbor, turn around and return back to the cottages and onto the highway. The route then continues west on the highway towards the Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor to the turnaround point, then return to the Cottages, turn right into the entrance and cross the finish line to the right side of the main office. • Finish Line: ALL walkers/runners finish at the Waimea Plantation Cottages
• Volunteers: Volunteers will be stationed along the route to ensure runners are following the correct path, as well as providing water cups at designated water stations.

Once the majority of runners have finished, we will begin the award ceremony at the Cottages so please stick around to congratulate all our winners!
