Race Overview

Join the fun in our exclusive members-only race, brought to you by Columbus Westside Running Club. Please read the details below carefully for a successful event experience!

Entry Fees

• Cost: The event will cost $10,000.00 without an entry coupon.
• Membership: Interested in joining the CWRC? Ensure you register for the CWRC on RunSignUp before Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, at 11:59 PM to receive your free entry code.

Registration Details

1. Register for the CWRC on RunSignUp to join the club and newsletter. (Note: Registration on RunSignUp is free)
2. Entry Codes: FREE Entry Codes will be dispatched on Sunday, September 19th, 2026.
3. Finisher Hat: All Participants are eligible to earn a FREE Finisher Race Hat. Please choose the "No Hat" option during registration if you prefer not to wear one.

Race Information

• Race Type: This is an UNTIMED FUN RUN.
• Course Description: About 99% of the course consists of an asphalt bike path on the Camp Chase and Roberts Pass Trails.
• Safety & Regulations:
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Sign a waiver prior to participation.
  • Adhere to all road and trail regulations.
  • Give way to oncoming traffic.
  • Inform organizers when leaving the course.

Team Information

1. During sign-up, every participant must either join an existing team or initiate a new one. See Chris Taylor's Pinned Post for the Google Sheet.
2. Team Captain: The primary team member automatically becomes the team captain. This role can be adjusted later if needed.
3. Emergency Contact: All relay teams must assign an extra member or have an emergency contact for unforeseen situations.
   Note: We won’t provide logistical or transportation support other than refreshing the coolers.
4. Ultra-marathoners: Those undertaking the full 50K solo must have an emergency contact.
5. Find a Team: For those seeking a team or having open relay spots, visit: GRRR 50k & Relay Facebook Event (Facebook account mandatory).
6. Reporting: Team captains must report to Chris Taylor (coaching@:cwrunclub.com) or through Facebook once their team concludes the race.

Race Legs

1. Leg 1: 8.3 mi from Wilson Road Park to Battelle Darby.
2. Leg 2: 15.3 mi Battelle Darby to Glade Run and back.
3. Leg 3: 8.3 mi Battelle Darby back to Wilson Road Park.

Note: Most participants choose to start at Leg 2 Battelle Darby with the main group. Each participant can opt for 1, 2, or all 3 legs. Without a baton or scoring, teams have the flexibility to complete the event in any manner as long as the combined distance equals 50K (31 miles).

Refreshment Stops

Coolers stocked with Water, Gatorade, and Snacks will be available every 3.4-4.5 miles. If you're a runner who tends to get thirsty, it's advised to bring additional supplies.

GPS Address Details and Parking

1. Wilson Road Park: 275 S Wilson Rd, Columbus, OH 43204.
2. Battelle Darby Canoe Entrance: 1775 Darby Creek Dr, Galloway, OH 43119. Look for the cooler northeast of the roundabout.
3. Glade Run Road: When you locate the cooler, double back. The nearest Google Address is 3180 Glade Run Rd, West Jefferson, OH 43162.
