Ugly Sweater 5k 2024

🎉 Event Overview

The Ugly Sweater 5k is coming up on Saturday, December 7, 2024, and will be hosted by the Rotary Club of La Crosse—After Hours (RAH)!

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Event Type: In-person and virtual
• Packet Pick-up: The Nature Place (formerly the Myrick Park Center) beginning at 3:00 pm
• Race Start: 4:15 pm in Myrick Park
• Race Route: Through La Crosse marsh trails, ending at Riverside Park at Rotary Lights

🎁 Community Impact

Your generosity and continued support of our club’s efforts have allowed us to make an impact both locally and internationally. In 2022 and 2023, RAH:

• Served: Food to children and families at the Boys & Girls Club of La Crosse and the Trinity Lutheran Church block party
• Sponsored: Local families through the For Goodness Sake Project, purchasing gifts for families during the holidays
• Contributed: To Rotary International's mission to bring an end to polio around the world
• Built: 80 beds through Sleep in Heavenly Peace for kids in need
• Helped: Purchase a greenhouse for Northside Elementary

💰 Registration Fees

The Ugly Sweater 5k is meant to be a family-friendly event and a competitive race. Entry fees are affordable:

• Children 10 and under: Free with a non-perishable food item
• Ages 11-15: $15
• Ages 16+: $30 before November 25: $35 after November 24: $40 same-day registration
• Virtual: $30

🚍 Shuttle Information

A shuttle will be running from Riverside Park (location: 333 N. Front St., La Crosse - old Century Link building) to Myrick Park Main Shelter.

• Riverside Park to Myrick Park:
  • Leaving Riverside Park at 3:15 and 3:45 pm
• Myrick Park to Riverside Park:
  • Leaving Myrick Park at 4:45 pm
• Riverside Park to Myrick Park:
  • Leaving Riverside Park at 5:15, 5:45, 6:15 and 6:45 pm
