Girls on the Run Fall 5K Celebration presented by Dayton Children's Hospital & Synchrony and made possible by Up and Running

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The Fall rendition of the Girls on the Run 5k will return to Wright State University. Girls on the Run is an incredible program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Girls on the Run strives for a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

👟 Running Buddy Support

• Role of Running Buddy: As many of you know, our Girls on the Run participants traditionally run alongside an adult Running Buddy.
• Support and Encouragement: The job of the Running Buddy is to provide one-on-one support and encouragement to their girl as she takes on a great challenge.
• Race Day Give-away: All 5k participants will receive a race day give-away, this year it is a Girls On The Run branded reusable tote bag.

🎉 Fun Run Details

• Event Description: Back this year, we are continuing a Fun Run.
• Distance: The half-mile fun run will start and finish at the same start finish line as the 5k.
• Start Time: It will start at 12:30.
• Timing: This race will not be timed, but we will run the clock for participants to see their time.

When: Saturday, November 16 at 1:00pm.

📍 Location

Where: Wright State University (park in Lot 17)

💲 Cost

• Registration Fee: $25 Early Bird (now through November 8). $30 after November 8.

Who: EVERYONE is invited to participate!
