Groundhog 7-miler/5-miler hosted by Indy Runners

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

We had another great time last year at the Groundhog! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to raise another $4000+ for the Zionsville Food Pantry. We've once again added a "Virtual Groundhog" for those who would like to support the cause, but can’t make it on race day.

📍 Course Details

And we’ll continue to be back to our old ways of offering a 7-mile option and our 5-mile option - utilizing the Rail Trail with a bit of extension farther to the north.

• 7-Miler Pace: We do need to ask for folks wanting to do the 7-miler to keep up a 14:00 per mile pace.
• Course Sentry: Our course sentry at Mulberry Street (Mile 4.5) will be diverting everyone after that to just take the 5-mile route back to the high school.
• Bonus Distance: Admittedly, the 5-mile route is a touch long by about 0.2-miles...so you get a little bonus fun for your money. :)
• Location: Zionsville High School - 1001 Mulberry Street, Zionsville, Indiana 46077

🙏 Special Thanks

Special Thanks to Zionsville Community High School for being our long time host and the Zionsville Food Pantry as our beneficiary. We’ll still be collecting mostly monetary donations to support the food pantry this year, but they will be on site again to scoop up any additional canned food items our participants might also bring along.
