Butler Bulldog Jog - hosted by Indy Runners

Event Overview

We had another wonderful day on Campus in 2025 for our Bulldog Jog - the 6th year of our partnership race with Butler University and Indy Runners and Indy Walkers running club! We':re looking forward to even more fun in 2026.

Event Support

• Cheer Squad: Butler Blue, Butler Cheer and Hink, and the Butler Pep Band will support you and our Dawg Walk.
• Generosity: We are grateful for the generosity of participants and friends who have offered additional donations that bolster our charitable giving.
• Beneficiaries: This year we will once again be splitting the donations between our three beneficiaries: Butler HRC student programs, Indy Runners' Giving Back initiatives, and the Indy Humane Society.

Race Details

• Course: Our 5k continues to be a nice tour through our lovely campus with a flat, fast course for racing hard if you like, or a great family event for kids as well.
• Maps: Maps - available at our Indy Runners Website by Clicking Here
• Virtual Option: We will continue to have our Virtual Option for Butler Alumni (or other Butler lovers, or Indy Runners members, or Dawg lovers for that matter) scattered across the country to be able to participate and support the cause.
• Shirts: We’ll mail race shirts to all of our Virtual participants.

Participation Notes

• Dog Note: We can allow folks to run the 5k with their dog if you like—but please be careful of other runners' legs around you.
• No Dogs: PLEASE NO DOGS IN THE 10k THROUGH NEWFIELDS. Thanks for your understanding.
• Stroller Note: Please limit the use of running strollers with young Dawg fans on board to just the 5k.
• Safety: The Canal Towpath is a little tight for passing, so it's best to stay on the wider roads of the 5k.
