Mission and Goals
This race is part of a larger effort to run 50 half marathons in 50 states, completing one race each month. Each run is dedicated to raising awareness about parental alienation, family court practices that separate children from a loving parent, and the urgent need for children to have reasonable access to both parents.
Awareness and Impact
- Issue: Parental alienation and unnecessary parent-child separation cause long-term emotional, psychological, and developmental harm.
- Purpose: This run exists to bring visibility to that harm and to advocate for fair, child-focused family court outcomes.
- Founder's Participation: Bob, the founder of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter, will be running this race in Indiana while supporters participate virtually from anywhere.
- Support Contribution: All funds raised from this race go directly to advancing the mission of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter.
Your Support
Donations do not cover travel costs, race registrations, or personal expenses associated with the 50 state run. Those costs are covered separately. Contributions from this event support our first year strategic goals, which include:
- Advisory Board: Building a national advisory board of legal and mental health professionals.
- Aware Campaign: Launching a public awareness campaign focused on children’s right to both parents.
- Research Publication: Publishing research and data that highlight custody trends and the impact of parental alienation.
- Educational Resources: Developing educational resources for families navigating the court system.
Your support helps lay the foundation for long term reform, credible advocacy, and meaningful change for families across the country.
