Event Highlights

• Celebration: Experience the Engineers Day Weekend in Sault Sainte Marie.
• Starting Point: Join us at the Soo Locks starting at 9am on Friday.
• Race Time: The 5K race begins at 6:00pm.
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 4:00pm on race day, with early pickup on Thursday from 4-8pm at Birdseye Outfitters.

Additional Activities

• International Bridge Walk: Participants are encouraged to join the walk from Sault Sainte Marie, MI, to Sault Sainte Marie, Canada the following day.

Course Details

• Route: Ashmun Bay Boat Launch to Ted Caffey Memorial Trail and back.
• Surface: 100% soft surface with gravel and snowmobile trail.
• Sights: Views of Ashmun Bay, Freighters, and the international bridge.
• Nature: Experience beautiful shoreline foliage along the course.

Awards

• Age Group Awards: Given to 1st place in divisions: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Overall Winner Awards: Top Male and Female, Top Master's (40+), and Top Grandmaster's (60+).

Finish Line Experience

• Refreshments: Enjoy water, Gatorade, bananas, watermelon, and snacks.
• Timing: Chip timing via Race Result Duo Transponders.
• Results: Onsite and online results provided, with a link available closer to race day.
