Kokosing Alberici Traylor Engineers Day 5K

Event Overview

• Location: Ashmun Bay Park, Sault Sainte Marie, MI
• Start Time: 6:00 PM
• Packet Pickup: Starts at 4:00 PM at the boat launch parking lot: Early pickup on June 25, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Birdseye Outfitters.

• Standard Registration: $25.00 (2025)
• Jan 1 - May 31, 2025: $30.00
• June 1 - June 25, 2025: $35.00
• Race Day Registration: $40.00 (Exact Change CASH ONLY or Venmo).

Course Information

• Route: Starts at Ashmun Bay Boat Launch, follows Ted Caffey Memorial Trail to South Street and back.
• Surface: 100% soft surface consisting of gravel road and snowmobile trail.
• Scenery: Views of Ashmun Bay, Freighters, power canal, international bridge, and shoreline foliage.
• Amenities: Water stations available along the route.

Awards & Recognition

• Age Group Awards: 1st place in ages 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
• Overall Awards: Top Male and Female, Top Master's (40+), and Top Grandmaster's (60+).
• Trophies: Medals for each participant, plus age group awards.
• T-Shirt Option: Available for an additional $15 during online registration.

Post-Race Celebration

• Refreshments: Enjoy water, Gatorade, bananas, watermelon, bags of chips, and fruit snacks.
• Results: Provided by Yooper Running Company using chip timing via Race Result Duo Transponders.

• International Bridge Walk: Join on the following day after the race from Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan to Sault Sainte Marie, Canada (shuttle fees applicable).

• Celebration: The starting festivities at Soo Locks downtown, beginning 9 AM.
