🏃‍♂️ Sault Ste. Marie Riverfest 5K

Enjoy a 5K run or walk along the scenic Riverside Drive to celebrate the Sault Ste. Marie Riverfest on Saturday, August 16th. The race will start/finish near the outhouse on the north side of the kid's fishing pond at Rotary Island Park.

• Date: August 16, 2025
• Location: 1425 Riverside Dr., Sault Sainte Marie, MI
• Start/Finish: Near the outhouse on the north side of the kid's fishing pond at Rotary Island Park.
• Course: Flat, fast, and an out/back route.

🏅 Aid Stations and Course Info

• Aid Station: Water available near the halfway mark at the Charles T. Harvey Marina.
• Course Highlights: Traverses Rotary Island before heading out to Riverside Drive.
• Loop: Loops around the Charles T. Harvey Marina parking lot before heading back.
• Packet Pickup: Early packet pickup on Friday from 4-7pm at Birds Eye Outfitters.

📝 Registration Details

• Early Registration: $15 per registrant through December 31.
• Post-December Registration: $20 through June 30, $25 in July, and $30 in August.
• Registration Closure: Officially closes at 8:30am on race day.
• Finisher Medals: Given to all participants.

🏆 Awards

• Top Awards: Given to the top male and female, top male and female master’s division (40+), and grandmaster's division (60+).
• Age Groups: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Custom Award: Age group awards include a custom riverfest coffee mug from Oaklawn Laser Works.
• Timing: Chip timing and results provided by Yooper Running Company.
