🌉 Day 1: 5 Mile International Bridge Run

• Type of Event: RUN (not a walk)
• Pace Requirement: Maintain a pace of 15 minutes per mile or faster
• Shuttle Policy: Participants unable to maintain pace may be asked to stop and receive a shuttle
• Start/Finish Area: LSSU Arts Center

🏙️ Day 2: Half Marathon & 5K

• Routes: Events DO NOT CROSS the International Bridge
• Start/Finish Location: Near downtown Sault Sainte Marie
• Registration: Participants must register separately for Day 1 and Day 2 races
• Event Types: Half Marathon, 5K Run, and 5K Walk

🛂 Travel & Safety Information

• ID Requirement: Carry an ID for medical emergencies
• Passport Recommendation: Not required for running, but recommended
• Traveling from Canada: Passport required to enter the US
• Health Insurance: Consider purchasing 1-day international health insurance

🚑 Emergency Procedures

• Medical Emergency: Emergency personnel will transport participants to the nearest hospital
• Health Emergencies: Coverage during Day 1 on the bridge
• Traffic Advisory: Plan for delays due to bridge closing times (7:45-9:45am)
• Past Participation: 720 participants in the previous event in 2025
