Sault International Festival of Races

🏁 Event Overview

• Date: September 27-28, 2025
• Location: 650 W. Easterday, Sault Sainte Marie, MI
• Start Time: 8:00am on both Saturday and Sunday
• Race Types: 5 Mile Bridge Run, Half Marathon, 5K Run, and 5K Walk

🌉 Bridge Run Details

• Main Event: 5 Mile Bridge Run
• Route: Runs across the International Bridge
• Starting Point: Historic campus of LSSU
• ID Requirements: No need for IDs or passports: participants will be turned around before customs

🌊 Scenic Views

• Sights: Views of the Soo Locks, LSSU, and the St. Mary's Rapids
• Freighters: Passing freighters will enhance the experience
• Experience: Take in the picturesque surroundings as you race

🏃‍♂️ Additional Races

• Day Two Races: Half-marathon and 5K
• Non-Bridge Course: These races will not cross the International Bridge
• Starting Point: Near the heart of downtown Sault Sainte Marie
• Participant Count: Last event in 2019 saw 250 participants
