Run Like the Dickens

🎉 Event Overview

Join us for another year of family fun at "Run Like the Dickens!" This one-mile fun run will be held at Main Beach, Amelia Island on Saturday, December 13, 2025, starting at 8:30AM. Check-in and onsite registration opens at 7:30am. Please meet at the Sandbar and look for the registration table.

🔥 Pre-Race Excitement

• Warm-Up: Come early for the pre-race warm up, courtesy of the YMCA. It'll get you fired up for the fun!
• Course Details: The course will be a simple out, round the tree, and back beach run: direction may change based on conditions.
• Timing: Please note that this is not a chipped race.

🥇 Awards and Refreshments

The awards ceremony will take place at the Sandbar Amelia Island directly following the race. The Sandbar is opening early to offer complementary coffee & hot chocolate. Breakfast sandwiches will be available for purchase from 8:00am - 9:00am. Santa will also be onsite for photo ops!

👕 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Register online through Friday, November 21st until 5:00PM to receive an official Run Like the Dickens t-shirt.
• After Deadline: If you register after 11/21 or onsite, we will do our best to have a t-shirt mailed to you or available for pick-up at the Welcome Center.
• Youth Sizes: This year, we will have youth sized shirts as an option.

🎭 Everyone is Welcome!

All are welcome - including kids and dogs. Costumes are encouraged! Laughs are guaranteed!
