Costume Contest

But that’s not all—get ready for our Legendary Beast Costume Contest! Dress up as Bigfoot or any other legendary creature and compete for the title of crowd favorite.

• Dress Up: Come dressed as Bigfoot or another legendary beast. Show off your most creative and impressive costumes!
• Winner: There will be only one winner, chosen by the crowd!
• Prizes: The winner will take home the coveted “Legendary Beast Trophy” and a Bigfoot prize pack filled with cool gear.
• Crowd Favorite: Rally your friends and family to cheer you on, as creativity and enthusiasm will make all the difference!

Kids Dash

Don’t miss the fun for the little ones with our Kids Dash—where tiny Yeti's can run, dash, and be cheered on by a roaring crowd.

• Event: Designed for kids 10 and under, the Kids Dash is typically about a 50 meter dash.
• Memorable Moments: Bigfoot himself will be there too, offering high-fives and posing for photos.
• Included: Participants receive a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• Professional Capture: Our crew will be present with our professional race camera to capture all the fun!

Race Distances

Ready to join the adventure? Sign up for the Bigfoot Classic today and make memories that will last a lifetime.

• Kids Dash: 50 meters for kids 10 and under. Not timed.
• 1 Mile: Designed for all ages and experience levels. Not chip timed.
• 5K: 3.11 miles, chip timed, with awards for overall finishers.
• 10K and 15K: Chip timed, featuring trophies and special recognition awards.

Awards and Recognition

Standard Age Group Awards for 5K, 10K, & 15K:

• 1st Overall: Trophy for male and female.
• Masters Category: Special recognition award lanyard pin for 40+.
• Age Groups: Awards for top 3 finishers in various age brackets.
• Finishers: All finishers receive a medal and a shirt.

Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:50am: Costume Contest
• 8:55am: Kids Dash start time
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!

Volunteer Opportunities

If you're interested in volunteering, there are numerous roles available including water station support, course monitoring, and more.

• Water Station: Prepare water cups and cheer on runners.
• Course Monitors: Assist in ensuring participant safety.
• Turtle / Sweeper: Encourage the last runner and assist with course cleanup.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the costume and cheer on participants!

• Weather Policy: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Always offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time.
• Course Conditions: Races typically held on parks and green belts: expect mixed surfaces.
