Costume Contest Details

Race Distances Offered

• Kids Dash: Approximately a 50-meter dash for kids 10 and under. Not timed with a tee shirt, race medal, and recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Open to all ages and experience levels. Not chip timed: includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Chip timed with 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers and age group awards.
• 15K: Chip timed with trophies and age group awards similar to the 5K event.

Awards

• Overall Awards: 1st overall M/F winners receive trophies.
• Masters Awards: Special recognition award lanyard pin for masters age 40+.
• Age Group Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze pins for age groups 10 and under up to 70+.
• Medal & Shirt: All finishers in every distance receive a medal and shirt.

• Packet Pickup: 7:30-8:45 am
• Costume Contest: 8:50 am

• Race Start: 9:00 am with live results and awards immediately following.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Volunteer then Run: Volunteer before the race and then participate: limited to the first 10 sign ups.
• Full Race Volunteers: Sign up on the "VOLUNTEER" tab and earn a Bigfoot race shirt & free entry to a future event.
• Water Station: Duties include filling water cups and cheering on runners.
• Course Monitors: Ensure participant safety at critical points along the route.

• Rain or Shine: Bigfoot races proceed regardless of weather.
• Packet Pickup: 1.5 hours before the event start time.
• Race Conditions: Expect a variety of surfaces including paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
• Shirt Guarantee: Cutoff is 10 days before the event for shirt availability.
