Prepare yourself for a running event like no other. Romance. Kitsch. Sweat. My Better Half Marathon is a celebration of running, romance and rom-coms. There are 4 categories: Bromance (two guy friends), Besties (two best friends), Lovers (romantically involved) and Lonely Hearts (self-explanatory). Join Orca Running, February 8th, 2026 as we celebrate love in all of its forms!
💑 Registration Categories
- Lover's registration: for couples of all kinds!
- Bestie's registration: for two girlfriends, mom and daughter, guy and gal, or anyone you call your bestie.
- Bromance registration: for two dudes who probably don’t want to admit that they’re inseparable.
- Lonely Heart's registration: for those currently enjoying being single or looking for love.
🏞️ Course Details
- Half Marathon: consists of 2 laps: the first is 6.9 miles with a steep hill early on, the second is 6.2 miles and nice and flat.
- 10K Course: a total of 2 laps: the first is 3.7 miles with some hills, the second is 2.5 miles and flat.
- 5K Course: 3.1 miles long with a steep hill at the beginning, but it’s a breeze coming back down!
- Half Marathon Relay: complete in any way, both laps must be done. Lap one is 6.9 miles with a quick hill, Lap two is 6.2 miles and flat.
