Race Description

• Theme: Prepare yourself for a running event like no other. Romance. Kitsch. Sweat.
• Celebration: My Better Half Marathon is a celebration of running, romance and rom-coms.
• Categories: Bromance, Besties, Lovers, and Lonely Hearts.
• Host: Join Orca Running as we celebrate love in all of its forms!

Registration Types

• Lover's Registration: For couples of all kinds!
• Bestie’s Registration: For two girlfriends, mom and daughter, guy and gal, or anyone you call your bestie.
• Bromance Registration: For two dudes who probably don't want to admit that they’re inseparable.
• Lonely Heart’s Registration: For those currently enjoying being single or looking for love.

Course Details

• Half Marathon: Total of 2 laps, first lap is 6.9 miles with a steep hill, second is 6.2 miles and flat!
• 10K: Total of 2 laps, first lap is 3.7 miles with hills, second is 2.5 miles and flat!
• 5K: 3.1 miles long with a steep hill at the beginning: it’s a breeze on the return!
• Half Marathon Relay: Complete in any way as long as both laps are run, with a hand-off area in the park gazebo.

• Shirt: Long sleeve 1/4 zip shirt.
• Finisher Medal: Every participant receives a finisher medal.
• Post-Race Food: Hot post oatmeal.
• Race Photos: Free race photos!
