🦃 Welcome to the West Deptford Running of the Turkeys

Start your Thanksgiving day at the West Deptford Running of the Turkeys 5K Turkey Trot and 2-mile Wobble Walk!

👕 Shirt Purchase Information

• Optional shirts: Available for purchase until Thursday, November 20th.
• Deadline: Pre-register before or on Wednesday, November 26th at 8:00 PM to participate.
• Pick-up: Race bibs and optional t-shirts can be picked up from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, Nov 26th, and starting at 7:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning.
• Note: You must be present on race day to claim your shirt: shirts will not be mailed.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Event date: Thanksgiving Morning, November 27th, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
• Race options: Choose between the 5K Turkey Trot Race or the 2-mile Wobble Walk.
• Timing: The 5K race will be chip-timed.
• Location: RiverWinds Community Center, West Deptford, NJ.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Awards: First, second, and third place male and female overall and age group award medals for 5K participants.
• Age groups: Awards will be given for 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
• Ceremony: Awards ceremony will begin promptly at 9:45 AM.
• Collection: We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries Food Bank.

🌧️ Event Logistics

• Weather: The event will be held rain or shine.
• Parking: Plenty of parking at RiverWinds Community Center.
• Shirt purchase: Optional long-sleeve shirts will not be available after November 20th, and will not be sold on race day.
• Important: If you cannot attend, shirts will not be sent to you after the race.
