Turkey Vulture Trot 5k & 1-Mile Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Give your metabolism a boost over Thanksgiving Reconnect Weekend with our Turkey Vulture Trot 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run! The 5K will begin at 9am on Thursday, November 27 on our Mountain Center Road course. The 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 10am. A portion of the proceeds will benefit North Sky Raptor Sanctuary.

🥇 Awards

• Medals: A commemorative medal will be awarded to the top 3 men and women in each age group for the 5K race.
• Finisher Medals: All Fun Run participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Winners: The overall male and female winner of the 5K will receive a Crystal Mountain Prize Pack valued at over $200.

⏱️ Timing

We are excited to announce that for our 2025 Turkey Vulture Trot we will now have Chip timing! Runners will receive a bib with a small electronic device that records their time as they cross the starting line and the finish line.

📝 Registration

Online Registration

• Opening Date: Online registration will begin September 12 and will close at Noon on Wednesday, November 26.
• Pre-Registration: Through November 26 (Online Only):
  • 5k Cost: $25 per person
  • 1-Mile Fun Run Cost: $10 per person

Day-Of Registration

• 5k Cost: $40
• 1-Mile Fun Run Cost: $25

🎁 Extras

• Incentive: The first 100 5k racers to sign up will receive a water bottle.
• Race Supplies: Race supplies will be available for advance pickup at the Park at Water’s Edge on Wednesday, November 26 from 12pm - 4pm.
• Check-In: Check-in on race day will be in the Kinlochen Lobby outside of The Thistle.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards ceremony will take place at approximately 10:30am at the Lodge Pavilion Tent, slopeside near the Crystal Clipper.
