Join us on November 26, 2026, at 12500 Crystal Mountain Dr, Thompsonville, MI, for the Turkey Vulture Trot 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run! Give your metabolism a boost over Thanksgiving Reconnect Weekend.

Event Schedule

• 5K Start Time: 9am
• 1-Mile Fun Run Start Time: 10am
• Course Location: Mountain Center Road
• Beneficiary: A portion of the proceeds will benefit North Sky Raptor Sanctuary

Awards and Medals

• Top Finishers: Commemorative medal for the top 3 men and women in each age group for the 5K
• Fun Run Medal: All Fun Run participants will receive a finisher medal
• Overall Winners: Male and female winners of the 5K will receive a Crystal Mountain Prize Pack valued at over $200
• Chip Timing: Chip timing will be available for the 2026 race

Registration Information

Online registration will open on September 15 and close on November 25 at 9:00am. After that, day-of pricing will apply until 8:55am on November 26.

Pre-Registration Costs

• 5K Cost: $25 per person
• 1-Mile Fun Run Cost: $10 per person

Day-Of Registration Costs

• 5K Cost: $40
• 1-Mile Fun Run Cost: $25
• Bonus: The first 100 5K racers will receive a water bottle
• Race Supplies Pickup: Available at the Park at Water’s Edge on Wednesday, November 25 from 12pm - 4pm

Check-in and Awards

• Check-in Location: Kinlochen Lobby outside of The Thistle on race day
• Awards Ceremony: Approximately 10:30am at the Lodge Pavilion Tent, slopeside near the Crystal Clipper
