🏃‍♀️ Event Details

• Hosted by: Benzie Senior Resources
• Registration Fee: $35 (closes on Friday, August 1, 9 p.m.)
• Tee Shirts: Available for the first 200 who register
• Date & Time: August 1, 2026, with in-person registration from 5-7 p.m. at The Gathering Place Senior Center

📍 Race Location

• Start/Finish: Near the pavilion in Bellows Park
• Course Type: Out-and-back along South Shore Drive E. by Crystal Lake
• Timing: Professionally timed by Aldrich Timing with an 8:15 a.m. start
• Traffic: Low traffic, with monitoring by law enforcement

🚶‍♂️ Participation Options

• Walking/Running: Non-timed participation available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
• Family Friendly: Strollers and mobility devices welcome
• Children's Participation: Kids up to age 17 can join parents or guardians for free
• Awards: Age level certificates available until 1 p.m. or will be mailed

🚗 Parking Information

• Parking Locations: Bellows Park and non-private property on Bellows Ave., S Shore Drive E, and Thomas Road
• Parking Limitation: Limited spaces available: ride-sharing is encouraged
• Private Properties: Please do not park with wheels encroaching on any private properties
• Drop-off: Friends or family may provide drop-off and pickup

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

• Refreshments: Enjoy time together in the Bellows Park pavilion
• Purpose: Proceeds support Benzie Senior Resources
• Evening Event: Join us for music by K. Jones and the Benzie Playboys at The Cabbage Shed from 7-9 p.m.
• Shuttle Service: Provided by Benzie Bus between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. with signage for the shuttle
