Registration Details

• Online Registration: $35 (closes on Friday, August 1, 9 p.m.)
• Tee Shirts: Available for the first 200 who register.
• In-Person Registration: $35 at The Gathering Place Senior Center, 10579 Main St., Honor, Michigan on Friday, August 1st from 5-7 p.m.
• Race Day Registration: At Bellows Park from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m.

Course Information

• Start/Finish: Near the pavilion in Bellows Park.
• Timing: Professionally timed by Aldrich Timing, with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start.
• Course Type: Out-and-back course using South Shore Drive E. along the shoreline of Crystal Lake.
• Traffic: South Shore Drive is a low-traffic, residential roadway with an enforced speed limit of 25 mph.

Participation Options

• Walking/Running: Non-timed participants can start anytime between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.
• Family Friendly: Strollers and mobility devices welcome.
• Children: Up to age 17 may accompany parents or guardians at no charge.
• Certificates: Age level certificates for men and women available until 1 p.m. on race day or will be mailed.

Parking Information

• Parking Locations: Bellows Park, along non-private property on Bellows Ave., S Shore Drive E, and Thomas Road.
• Limitations: Parking is limited: ride-sharing encouraged.
• Private Property: Please do not park with wheels encroaching on any private properties.

Post-Race Celebration

Enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshment after your run or walk, in the Bellows Park pavilion!

All proceeds of this race support the work of Benzie Senior Resources, helping Benzie County adults 60 and older to remain healthy, intellectually and socially engaged, and living independently in their own homes.

Evening Event

• Location: The Cabbage Shed in Elberta.
• Music: Dance to the music of K. Jones and the Benzie Playboys from 7-9 p.m.
• Cover Charge: No cover charge, but donations are welcome.
• Shuttle Service: Provided by Benzie Bus between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. between Elberta's Waterfront Park and The Cabbage Shed.
