The Last Boyscout

🏃‍♂️ The Last Boyscout Overview

• Event Type: Last Man Standing Race utilizing the Boyscout Trail at Ferne Clyffe State Park.
• Participants: All participants will receive a shirt and memorabilia to remember their efforts!
• Registration: Capped at 75 runners, leaving room for those truly going for the win!
• Challenge: Tough course with only one runner reaching 100 miles in 7 years.

⛰️ The Course

• Start Time: 6:40am, with a 4.167-mile loop requiring completion within 1 hour.
• Elimination: Runners must finish loops and be in the starting corral by the next hour or be eliminated.
• Terrain: Includes a mix of single track trail, jeep road trail, and road with 600 feet of elevation per loop.
• Night Loop: Starts at 6:40pm: requires headlamps and reflective vests.

🎪 The Venue

• Location: Beautiful Ferne Clyffe State Park in Southern Illinois.
• Facilities: The Start/Finish area is at the Hillside pavilion with electric and primitive campgrounds.
• Accessibility: Easy travel from surrounding states, located between Interstate 57 and Interstate 24.
