Join us in the Creative Capital for this historic marathon, half marathon and 5k. Providence Rhode Races winds through 4 of Rhode Island's famous communities, providing runners with a truly unique RI experience. Enjoy historic neighborhoods, treelined streets, sweeping coastal views, and working waterfronts.

📅 Event Details

• Date: May 3, 2026
• Marathon Start: 7:30 a.m. at Bold Point Park, East Providence, RI
• Half Marathon Start: 8:00 a.m. from the same location
• 5k Start: 8:15 a.m. from the same cityside start

🏅 Course Information

The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

🌦️ Weather Policy

Please Note: Providence Rhode Races will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.

🆔 ID Requirements

• Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions but you must show your ID when picking up your bib.

🔄 Registration Transfers

• Deferrals: Yes, you can transfer your bib or defer your entry to next year's race.
• Deadline: Transfer and deferral requests must be received before online registration closes, Wednesday before race day at 6 p.m.

📋 Registration Confirmation

Please visit RunSignup.com/profile to verify your race entry and make any changes - profile updates, upgrades/downgrades, transfers, deferrals, etc.

🚚 Packet Pickup

• Information: Packet pickup times are located on our website.
• Advance Pickup: Race packets MUST be picked up in advance of race day unless you have reserved RACE DAY packet pickup.
• Proxy Pickup: Someone can pick up your bib for you on Friday and Saturday.

🏅 Race Day Bib Pickup

A nominal fee will be charged for race day bib pickup to ensure proper planning and a smooth race day experience.

👥 Group Discounts

• Referral Program: Individuals can refer 3 friends using their unique referral code and receive $15 back.
• Group Discounts: For groups of 10 or more, each member will receive $5 to $15 in refunds.
• Automatic Application: Sign up on the same team for refunds to be automatically applied when thresholds are reached.
