Plainfield Salute the Troops 5k, Fun Run, & Soldier Stroll

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Run for fun, run to challenge yourself, or run in honor of a veteran. This fun race is hosted by Plainfield Recreation to honor and support our military troops and veterans.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the local VFW, American Legion, and Veteran's Coffeehouse.

⏰ Schedule

• Start Time: 9:15am with the National Anthem
• Fun Run: Starts at 9:30am
• 5K & Soldier Stroll: Starts at 10:15am
• Walker Placement: Walkers will start behind the runners

📍 Route Details

The route will begin and end at Plainfield High School and follow a path that includes:

• Locations: Athletic fields, Shepard Hill Elementary, and a small neighborhood
• Accessibility: Both races are intended for all abilities and skill levels
