Plainfield Salute the Troops 5k, Fun Run, & Soldier Stroll

🏅 Event Overview

Run for fun, run to challenge yourself, or run in honor of a veteran. This fun race is hosted by Plainfield Recreation to honor and support our military troops and veterans. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the local VFW, American Legion, and Veteran's Coffeehouse.

📅 Event Schedule

• Start Time: Beginning at 9:15am with the National Anthem.
• Fun Run Start: The Fun Run will take off at 9:30am.
• 5K and Soldier Stroll Start: Starts at 10:15am with walkers to start in back of the runners.

📍 Race Route

The route will begin and end at Plainfield High School and follow a route that moves through the athletic fields, Shepard Hill Elementary, and a small neighborhood. Both races are intended for all abilities and skill levels.
