🏃♂️ Event Overview
The Steve Cullen Healthy Heart Run/Walk is proud to fund life-saving heart research at the Medical College of Wisconsin in memory of former Milwaukee Alderman Steve Cullen who died at age 40 of a heart attack. In our 29 years, we’ve donated more than $700,000 to the cause, putting every dollar raised in the hands of researchers who are battling the #1 killer in the United States, heart disease.

🏃♀️ Distance Options
The 8k competitive run and 2 mile fun run/walk in Wauwatosa, WI draws about 600 participants and volunteers every year, with the famous Cullen Family and Friends chili & beer awaiting all at the finish line!
🗓️ Packet Pickup Information
- When: Thursday 2/12 3:00pm - 7:00pm and Friday 2/13 3:00pm - 7:00pm
- Where: Performance Running in Brookfield
- Note: Must register by January 31 shirt deadline to be guaranteed a shirt.
- In Person: Pick up your packet at the specified times. Fill out a card honoring or remembering the person for whom you are running.
👥 Additional Pickup Options
If you are from out of town and/or absolutely cannot make the pickup at Performance Running, you can have someone pick up on your behalf or get your bib on race day morning, starting at 8:30 am. For indoor registrants: Pick up your packet at WAC Wauwatosa, starting Thursday 2/12 at 3 pm.

Join the race either live or virtually in 2026 and help your own heart and others! You can also contribute directly to the cause via our Facebook page or even set up your own fundraising campaign.
