Darien Depot Overstuffed Turkey Trot 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Join Us for Our Annual Turkey Day 5K & 1 Mile Walk/Run!

After Thanksgiving, come burn off those extra calories with family and friends along the beautiful Darien High School cross-country trail! Last year's event featured over 600 runners, and we're expecting an even bigger crowd this year, including over 800 event attendees. Music and food are part of this tradition. New this year, children can participate in the Gobble Games for an additional fee. All proceeds benefit The Depot, Darien's Youth Center.

Event Details:

• Date: Friday, November 28, 2025
• Location: Darien High School Cross Country Trail
• Race Options: Timed 5K or 1 Mile Walk/Run
• Early Bib Pickup: Monday, 11/24/2025, from 12-2pm & Tuesday, 11/25/2025 from 830-1030am and 5-7pm at The Depot (25 Heights Road)

Same Day Bib Pickup: Race day starting at 9 AM

Pricing:

• Adults: $40 through Nov 1st, $45 Nov. 2-27th, $50 on Race Day (plus fees)
• Kids (6-12): $25, discount applied at checkout (plus fees)
• Kids (5 and under): FREE
• Post-Race Fun: Enjoy snacks and festivities after the races. All finishers will receive a medal!

Important Notes:

• Dogs: Dogs are not permitted on the Darien High School campus.
• Inclement Weather Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025 (only anticipated if there is snow)
• Strollers: Strollers are only allowed for the 1 Mile Walk/Run, and runners with strollers may be asked to line up towards the back to avoid congestion.
