Mercer County Turkey Trot

Event Overview

• Date: November 26, 2026
• Location: Mercer County Park, West Windsor, NJ
• Type of Event: 5K race and 1 mile fun run/walk
• Purpose: Proceeds support local food banks and pantries

Race Information

• Course Certification: The 5K course is certified by USA Track & Field (click here for a map of the race course).
• Course Condition: The course is paved and open to runners, families, and strollers. No dogs allowed.
• Start Times: The race will stage runners by approximate run times, with serious runners placed at the front.
• Fun Run Details: The 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run will start at 8:45 am and does not require a chip.

Awards and Prizes

• Certificates: Winners will receive certificates for the fastest overall male, female, and non-binary runners.
• Age Group Awards: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in each age group.
• T-Shirts: Available for the first 1,000 registrants, with limited sizes.
• Medals: Available for the first 750 finishers.

Packet Pick-Up

• Pre-Race Pick-Up: Available on November 22nd and 24th at McCaffrey's in West Windsor.
• Pick-Up Times: Sunday from 9:30 am - 3 pm and Tuesday from 4 - 6:30 pm.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Begins at 7 am at the pavilion in the West Picnic Area.
• Recommendation: Please attempt to pick up packets before race day to minimize congestion.

Team Formation

• Team Registration: Form teams with friends to support those in need.
• Discount: Teams with over 10 members will receive $3 off registration for each member.
