Mercer County Turkey Trot

🍂 Event Overview

The Mercer County Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving rain or shine!

The 13th Annual Mercer County Turkey Trot -- a 5K race and 1 mile fun run/walk -- will take place on Thanksgiving Day rain or shine. We look forward to making this event the most successful one yet! The proceeds from the Race support our local food banks and pantries.

🏃 Event Info

• Course Certification: The 5K course is certified by USA Track & Field (click here for a map of the race course).
• Participation: The course is paved and open to runners, families, and strollers. No dogs allowed.
• Starting Procedure: Serious, faster runners will be placed at the front and runners will be staged by approximate run times.
• 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run: This follows a portion of the 5K course, open to runners, families, and strollers. No chip is worn, so no time is registered for the fun run/walk. Starts at 8:45am.

🏅 Awards & Medals

• Winners Certificates: Fastest overall male, female and non-binary runners.
• Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in each age group will receive certificates.
• Shirts Availability: T-shirts available for the first 1,000 registrants with limited sizes.
• Finisher Medals: Medal available for the first 750 finishers.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Advance Pick-Up: Race bibs and Mercer County Turkey Trot t-shirts can be picked up on Sunday, November 23rd or Tuesday, November 25th at McCaffrey's in West Windsor.
• Pick-Up Hours: Sunday from 9:30am-3pm and Tuesday from 4-6:30pm.
• Race Day: Packet pick-up begins at 7 am in the pavilion at the West Picnic Area in Mercer County Park.
• Advice: Please try and pick up your packet on November 23rd or November 25th to minimize the crunch before the race.

🤝 Form a Team

Grab your friends and form a team to help provide for those in need in these difficult times. Teams with over 10 members will get $3 off registration for each team member.

🌍 Community Impact

This is the 13th annual event being organized by a Race Committee of Mercer County residents. The race committee will oversee the donation of the net proceeds from the event to local food pantries.
