Mercer County Turkey Trot
The Mercer County Turkey Trot will take place on Thanksgiving rain or shine!
Event Details
- Date: 2026-11-26
- Location: Mercer County Park, West Windsor, NJ
- Race Options: 5K run and 1 mile fun run/walk
- Proceeds: Support local food banks and pantries
Course Information
- Certification: The 5K course is certified by USA Track & Field (click here for a map of the race course).
- Type: The course is paved and open to runners, families, and strollers. No dogs allowed.
- Staging: Serious, faster runners will be staged at the front based on approximate run times.
- 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run: Open to runners and families: no chip timing is used.
Awards and Prizes
- Winners: Certificates for fastest overall male, female, and non-binary runners.
- Age Groups: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group.
- T-shirts: Available for the first 1,000 registrants with limited sizes.
- Medals: Given to the first 750 finishers.
Packet Pick-Up
- Advance Pick-Up: Bibs and t-shirts on November 22nd and 24th at McCaffrey's in West Windsor.
- Hours: Sunday from 9:30 am - 3 pm and Tuesday from 4 - 6:30 pm.
- Race Day: Begins at 7 am at the pavilion in the West Picnic Area.
- Suggestion: Please pick up your packet in advance to reduce race-day congestion.
Form a Team
- Team Spirit: Form a team to help provide for those in need.
- Discount: Teams with over 10 members will receive $3 off registration for each member.
