Event Times: 5K 8:00 am / Fun Run 9:00 am
Timing: (Clock timing only, no chip timing)
Presented by: the Outer Banks Running Club

👕 Participation Perks

Shirt: All 5k Participants will receive a RACE THEMED SHIRT
Giveaways: Must be picked up, no mailings.
Shirt Sizes: Cannot be guaranteed if not registered by November 5, 2024
Additional Shirts: We order extra shirts but may run out of your size

💰 Pricing Information

Pricing: 5K $35 (Outer Banks Running Club Members $30) - Fun Run $10

$$$ REFUND $$$ If you pick-up a 5K bib on Wednesday evening, you will get a FIVE dollar bill for every 5K bib picked up.

Beneficiary: This event will support our community and the Dare County High School Track Teams, Go Far, and OBX SPCA.
Special Note: Barrier Island Running Events will be assisting with the 2024 Gobbler. Starting in 2025, they will be putting on this Thanksgiving Day Gobbler race.

🔗 Registration

Online registration will close at Midnight on Sunday 11/24/24. There will be no packet pickup or race day registration.

📍 Race Day Info

Packet Pick-up: Available from 7:00-7:45 am on-site near HomeGoods.
Start Time: At 7:30 am bibs will be handed out with shirts available for pickup after the race.
Food Drive: Your donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items will be collected and delivered to our local food pantry.
Parking: Outer Banks Mall, 5000 S. Croatan Highway, Nags Head (Milepost 14.5 on 158).

🍽️ Post-race Hospitality

Light breakfast provided by Treehouse Coffee Co., for registered participants only. No alcohol is permitted.

⚠️ Refunds & Transfers

This is a fundraising event, and there will be no refunds or transfers. The race will be held rain or shine, but may be delayed or cancelled in unsafe weather conditions (e.g., lightning).
