Resolution Run 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile Stroll

🎉 Race Overview

This will be the 11th Resolution Run 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun walk to benefit the Middlebury Food Pantry. What a great way to start the New Year with some POSITIVE energy towards a very good cause!

💰 Entry Fees

• Individual Fee: $18
• Family Fee: $40
• Shirts: Long sleeve shirts are optional and an additional $16.
• Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks or credit cards onsite.

🏃‍♂️ Course Information

• Starting Point: The course starts and finishes at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center.
• Trails: Both courses utilize the Pumpkinvine Trail and Ridge Trails.

📅 Registration Details

Onsite Registration and Packet Pickup: Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, where we will gather pre and post race.

⏱️ Race Schedule

The 5K run/walk race starts at 10:00 am. The Mile Walk will follow just after the 5K takes off. You can stay up and ring in the New Year, and still get a good night's sleep before coming out join your friends for a scenic morning on the trail!

🏅 Entry Fee Benefits

• 5K Fee: Includes a timed entry, finisher treats and various age group awards.
• Mile Fee: Includes an untimed entry and finisher treats.
• Shirts: Optional and an additional $16.

🚗 Parking Information

Ample Parking: Available right there at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center.

📍 Start and Finish Lines

• Starting Line: The starting line is right out on Wayne Street. We will walk everyone out together and wait for the police to close the road before we start.
• Finish Line: You will finish on a path BEHIND the Essen Haus, protected from traffic and proceed around the Inn (not through the Inn) back to our room for warm cocoa and treats.

🏆 Awards Information

• Award Categories: Top 3 Overall Male and Female, and 3 deep age group awards in 15 age groups.
• Mile: The Mile is not timed.

📊 Results

• Timing: THTIming.com will be the timer onsite.
• Results Publication: Results will be pushed to the website.
• Text Updates: You can opt in to receive texts with your finisher times.

🥤 Post-Race Refreshments

After the race come in for some refreshments and the awards. Please enter and exit through the Conference side (Wayne Street side) not the hotel/Inn entrance as it becomes quite drafty for the hotel patrons. We appreciate your consideration.
