🎅 Race Overview

The Santa's 5K Run/Walk - Official NC Bigfoot Christmas Reunion is taking place on December 14, 2024, at the Millbridge Ruritan Building, Mt. Ulla, NC. For more details, visit the race page.

🏁 Course Details

• Distance: A 3.1 mile course that loops through and around the beautiful West Rowan area.
• Inclusivity: Open to competitive and recreational runners. Walkers are welcomed.
• Proceeds: All proceeds go to Rowan Helping Ministries - a not-for-profit volunteer-based corporation which operates human service programs to assist the economically disadvantaged.
• Donations: Canned goods and used running shoes will be collected at the race. Donated items will be dispersed by Rowan Helping Ministries after the race.

💰 Registration Fees

• 5K price through December 13: $30
• Race Day price: $35
• 1/2 Mile Fun Run price: $10

⏰ Race Day Schedule

• Check-In: 7:30 a.m.
• 5K Start: 9:00 a.m.
• Fun Run Start: 9:45 a.m.
• Location: Registration & Check-In will be at the Millbridge Ruritan Building - 490 Sloan Rd., Mt. Ulla, NC 28125.

🏆 Awards

• 5K Awards: Top 3 Male and Female participants in each age division, Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female.
• Fun Run Awards: Top 3 Male and Female ages 12 and under.
• Age Groups: 5K includes participants from 11 & under to 70 & over.
• Fun Run Age Group: For children 12 & under.

👕 Shirts

The first 150 5K participants will receive a long-sleeve technical t-shirt.

🥞 Breakfast

All 5K and Fun Run participants plus volunteers will receive a light breakfast (pancakes!!) following the races. Spectators and others can purchase the breakfast as a donation to Rowan Helping Ministries.

🗺️ Directions

The Millbridge Ruritan Building is on Sloan Road, just off Highway 150 midway between Salisbury and Mooresville. Just follow the signs for Sloan Park near the Millbridge Community crossroads. Turn left on Sloan coming from Mooresville and right on Sloan coming from Salisbury. The Ruritan Building is on the right less than a half mile from Hwy. 150 and is directly across from Sloan Park.
