Saturday, February 7th, 2026
Welcome to the City of Hurricane Crush Run to benefit the Meeks Mountain Trail Alliance. Join us on Saturday, February 7th, for the Crush Run Trail 10 miler, 5k run or hike, and Kids' Run. All proceeds go to support further development and maintenance of Meeks Mountain Trails Alliance.
Get Ready to Crush it and catch a glimpse of what the Hurricane Crush Run is all about!
The 10-miler has a 3-hour time limit, with the last aid station closing at 11:30. Water and sports drinks are available on the course. The 5k will have one aid station, and the 10-miler will have access to an aid station three times.
We are pleased to be a Trail Sister Approved Race!
Every runner gets the MMTA Crush Run swag, tote, and finisher award. Expect a finish line bonfire, marshmallows, Orange and Grape Crush, and plenty of hot and ready pizza from our friends at Little Caesars.
The 10-miler, 5k, and Kids Run all begin and end at the new Huntington Federal Shelter at the back of the bowl, which is a 15-minute walk from the parking lot at Hurricane City Park. Each course will be run on hand-built, single-track trails with rocks, roots, and rolling fun.
The kids' run is approximately 1 mile and begins at the Huntington Federal Shelter and follows pink flags.
To all of our military, first responders, and family members, MMTA says, “Thank you!” We love our faithful service members and their families. A 15% discount is available using coupon code “service” at checkout.
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female in the 10-miler and 5k. Age group awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers across several age categories. The Kids' Run is a fun run with unique finisher awards.
Safety and EMT will be on call for emergency situations.
Registration is limited to 125 runners for both the 10 miler and 5k. Early bird pricing is available until November 30th, with subsequent fee increases until race day. Registrations are final, and there are no refunds.
