🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Crush Run

Welcome to the City of Hurricane Crush Run to benefit the Meeks Mountain Trail Alliance. Join us on Saturday, February 7th, for the Crush Run Trail 10 miler, 5k run or hike, and Kids' Run. All proceeds go to support further development and maintenance of Meeks Mountain Trails Alliance.

Get Ready to Crush it and catch a glimpse of what the Hurricane Crush Run is all about!

📅 Race Details

• Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will be held on Friday, February 6th, from 5:00-6:30 pm and again on Saturday morning from 8:00-10:00 am, at Hurricane City Park's big red barn.
• Bathrooms: Bathrooms are available in the park, and portable restrooms will be available at the Start/Finish line.
• Safety: To reach the start and finish area, you’ll cross an active set of train tracks. Please take your time, look both ways, and stay alert.
• Time Limit: The 10 miler has a 3-hour time limit, and the last aid station will close at 11:30.

💧 Course and Aid Stations

• Water Stations: Water and sports drinks are available on the course.
• Aid Stations: The 5k will have one aid station, and the 10-miler will have access to an aid station three times.
• Caution: Expect hand-built single-tract trails featuring rocks, roots, and rolling fun.
• Kids Run: The kids' run is approximately 1 mile and begins at the Huntington Federal Shelter.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female in the 10-miler and 5k.
• Crush Teams: Awards will be given for 1st place Crush Two-Person Teams in the 10-miler and 5k.
• Age Group Awards: Age group awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers for various age groups.
• Kids Run: The Kids' Run is a fun run with unique finisher awards.

💖 Special Discounts

• Military Discount: A 15% discount is available for military, first responders, and their families using the coupon code “service” at checkout.
• MMTA Sustainers: Meeks Mountain Trail Sustainers receive a 10% discount on their race registration fee.
• Early Bird Pricing: Early bird pricing is $10 for the kids' run, $30 for the 5k, and $45 for the 10 miler until November 30th.
• Registration Limits: Registration is limited to 125 runners for the 10 miler and 125 for the 5k.

🍕 Finish Line Festivities

Every runner gets the MMTA Crush Run swag, tote, and finisher award. Expect a finish line bonfire, marshmallows, Orange and Grape Crush, and plenty of hot and ready pizza from our friends at Little Caesars.

⚠️ Safety and Rules

Safety and EMT will be on call for emergency situations. Please keep our trails clean, and do not litter. The trails are open to all users during the race, so beware of your surroundings and the hikers, runners, and mountain bikers that may come from ahead or behind you. No headphones, please. Be courteous and polite to all volunteers and your fellow runners.
