Whether you are a serious distance runner or a casual weekend warrior, come join us for the 12th annual Hungry Dog Dash 5K run/walk on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. The course will be fast, flat and beautiful as you run along one of San Diego’s most spectacular waterways in Liberty Station, Point Loma.

🐶 Dog-Friendly Event
This race is very dog friendly! Feel free to bring your leashed, four-legged running buddy to enjoy the run with you.
💖 Community Impact
All proceeds from The Hungry Dog Dash fundraiser go to the Point Loma High School Cross Country Team. The event also helps raise awareness with younger students in the community about the PLHS running program. After a 2-year hiatus due to Covid, the 2023 race was our biggest yet! We hope you will join us for this community and family event promoting fitness and healthy lifestyles!
🎉 Finish Line Activities
Finish line activities will include live music, food, drinks, a local business vendor village and fun for everyone.

Please note: The deadline for us to order t-shirts is JANUARY 27, 2025. After that date we cannot guarantee shirts &/or sizes.
📦 Packet Pickup Information
- Date: Saturday, February 8th
- Time: 9:00am-1:00pm
- Location: Point Loma High School parking lot on Clove St.
- Entry: Enter at the corner of Clove St and Zola St and look for the Hungry Dog Dash banner.
We strongly encourage participants to pick up bibs on Saturday to avoid long lines on race day. If you registered after the guaranteed t-shirt deadline on 1/27, you have a better chance of getting a shirt on Saturday. If picking up your packet on race day, please give yourself ample time.
