Montessori Key West 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run

Event Overview

Caring for our bodies is as important as caring for our minds. Join us the morning of December 7th as we throw a celebration of fitness and community and raise crucial funding for our dreamy little island school. This race offers something for everyone:

• 5K Race: Run or walk the 5K race.
• Kids Events: Kids can run the 1 mile race or the 1/2 mile race.
• Family Friendly: All activities take place in a safe and easy location at Truman Waterfront Park.
• Playground Fun: Kids can enjoy the playground while grown-ups participate.

Event Details

The event begins at the promenade at the USCGC Ingham Maritime Museum at Truman Waterfront Park. Award medals given for the top finishers in the 5K and 1mile races!

Schedule

• Check-in: Race day check-in starts at 7:00am.
• 5K Start Time: 8:00am.
• Kids' Run Check-in: 7:00am - 8:45am.
• Kids' Run Start Time: 9:00am (1 mile and 0.5 mile).

Post-Race Activities

After the race, enjoy refreshments, an award ceremony, and a dance party. Finisher medals are given to all participants and t-shirts for the first 100 who register.

Location and Registration

• Location: Truman Waterfront Park, Key West.
• Pre-Registration & Packet Pickup: Friday, December 5th from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at the Montessori School, 1221 Varela St.
• Proceeds Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit the Montessori Children's School of Key West.
• Tax Deductible: Donations are tax deductible.
