👕 Apparel and Awards

• Hoodies: Must be registered by December 24th at 11:59pm to be guaranteed a hoodie.
• Half Marathon/2 Person Relay Participants: Get a hoodie and a shirt!
• 5K Participants: Get a hoodie (if registered by December 24th): otherwise, they get a shirt.
• Unique Age Group Awards: For half marathon, 5K, and top 3 male/female coed relay teams.

🏅 Awards and Recognition

• Cash Awards: For top 3 overall male and female in the Half Marathon ($500, $300, $200).
• Course Record Bonus: $500 to first male and female who break our course records.
• Kids Races: Unique trophies for the top 3 boys/girls in each kids race!
• Clydesdale/Athena Categories: For 5K (Men >200lbs & Women >165lbs).

💧 Water Stations

• 5K: Water station at Mile 1.6.
• Half Marathon: Water stations at Miles 1.6, 3.9, 6.0, 8.5, 11.6.
• Fun!

👫 Relay Team Registration

• Register for the Event: Select the relay option during registration.
• Create Your Team: Choose "Create a New Team," enter a team name, and complete the required details.
• Invite Team Members: Share your team link or add members during registration.
• Complete Registration: The first person pays, and each team member will finish their registration.

📅 Race Day Information

• Walk-in Registration & Packet Pickup: Sat, Jan 4th (2:30-5:00pm) at Fleet Feet Store.
• Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: At Shinzen Group Activity Area at Woodward Park.
• Half Marathon: Registration from 7:00-7:45AM, race starts at 8:00AM.
• 5K: Registration from 8:00-8:45AM, race starts at 9:00AM.

🎊 About the Event

January 6th is a special day in Mexico, known as 'El Dia de Reyes' or Three Kings' Day. The date commemorates the three wise men who traveled from afar, bearing gifts for the infant Jesus. On the night of January 5th, children put one of their shoes under the bed and the next day they wake up to find a gift left there by the three kings. Mexicans celebrate this day with 'Rosca de Reyes' or Kings' Cake, which has a small doll inside representing baby Jesus. The person who gets the slice with the doll must host a party on February 2nd.
