🏃♂️ Event Overview
Join Fleet Feet San Diego for a family-friendly morning of running, walking, and giving thanks! Get up and get moving before all the food and football on Thanksgiving Day. The first 175 registrants will receive a limited edition 2025 Fleet Feet Thanksgiving Day 5k t-shirt! Stick around after the run for morning refreshments and early access to Black Friday shopping deals.
👕 T-Shirt Information
- Limited Edition: The first 175 registrants will receive a t-shirt.
- Purchase Options: Extra t-shirts can be purchased in the Online Race Store or during registration.
- Order Deadline: T-shirts will be available to order through Wednesday, 11/12.
- Pick-Up: T-shirts available for pickup on Wednesday 11/26 from 11 am-6 pm or Thanksgiving morning 11/27 starting at 7:15 am.
🗓️ Race Details
- Start Time: Our informal 5k will begin at 8 am.
- Informal Format: The route will be marked, but roads will not be closed.
- Course Accessibility: Strollers are welcome on the course, and a 1 mile option is available.
- Pedestrian Safety: All runners, walkers, and participants must follow pedestrian traffic laws for safety.
🤝 Community Support
This event is FREE! As in years past, we are asking for donations of canned food for the San Diego Food Bank to benefit those in need. This year we are incredibly proud to be supporting our very own Kevin Hopp and the Molly's Angels Foundation. Over the course of Thanksgiving week, Kevin Hopp will be running 350 miles to raise funds for Molly’s Angels Foundation and to support Monarch Schools, a lifeline for homeless youth, and Vista Hill, which provides crucial mental health, education, and social services. Join Kevin Hopp and his friends on this journey and help them reach their goal to make a lasting impact. Support his week of fundraising by joining the RunGiving Supporting Molly's Angels Foundation Strava Group, where each mile run earns $1 donated with a goal of reaching $25,000!
