COME RUN THE TRAIL WITH US!

Join the Blackwater Heritage Trail crew at our 3rd Annual Blackwater Heritage Trailblazer Fun Run on February 21, 2026! This is a beautiful tree-lined, well-maintained paved trail and the perfect path for a Saturday morning run with family and friends!

This fun run event on the Blackwater Heritage Trail is open to all ages, running or walking abilities, strollers and leashed dogs. Unique awards, prizes and fun for the whole family!

BRINGING BACK FOR THE 3RD YEAR:

• Event: Family-friendly fun run/walk
• Distance: 2.7 miles
• Honoring: 27th year of the Blackwater Heritage Trail
• Start Time: 9:00am

13K RETURNING FOR THE 2ND YEAR:

• Start Time: 9:00am
• Route: Scenic trail, 4ish miles out and 4ish miles back
• Awards: Overall and Age group awards (see below)
• Get Ready: Get your race on!

REGISTRATION/PRICING:

• Price: $52 for the 13k race
• Price: $27 for the 2.7 mile fun run/walk
• Registration Deadline: Thru 7:00pm Friday, Feb. 20th, 2026
• Note: Online registration will close at 7:00pm on Feb. 20th, 2026

PACKET PICKUP/LATE REGISTRATION:

• No Friday Packet Pickup: This year!
• Date: Saturday Feb. 21, 2025
• Location: The Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitor Center
• Time: 7:00 am to 8:30 am

13KM RACE AWARDS:

• Awards Ceremony: At 11:15-ish am at Prost Office Brewery
• Overall: Top Male and Female Overall
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female in age groups (0-9, 10-14, etc.)
• Special Awards: Top 3 Para-athletes and walkers

OTHER RACE DAY INFORMATION:

• After-Party: Fun after-party at Prost Office Brewery - beer specials w/bib!
• Family Friendly: Bring the whole family!
• Meet: Awesome folks of Pensacola Runners Association & Truly Spokin Bicycle Shop!
• Swag: Cool swag guaranteed for each participant who registers by Feb. 10, 2025!
