Melt the Ice 5K

❄️ Melt the Ice 5K Overview

On Saturday, March 21st, 2026, Fremont Elite Runners Club will once again host “Melt the Ice 5K” run/walk. This race will help motivate all levels of runners/walkers to stay active through the winter months.

🏁 Start and Finish Information

• Location: Start and finish outside the Strand Theater, 220 S. Front Street, Fremont, OH 43420.
• Rain or Shine: Race will be held rain or shine. No refunds.
• Cancellation Policy: We reserve the right to cancel if deemed unsafe to proceed due to weather or unforeseen emergencies or circumstances.

💰 Registration Fees

• Mail-in Registration Fee: $25 by March 6th, 2026 (Race shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants.)
• Online Registration Fee: $25 by March 15th, 2026 (Race shirts guaranteed to pre-registered participants.)
• Race Day Registration Fee: $30 (Not guaranteed - Limited shirts) 2XL add $2.
• Race Day Registration Time: Begins at 8:30 AM until 15 minutes before the start of the race.

🏆 Awards Information

• Overall Awards: Overall male and female finishers will receive awards.
• Age Categories: Awards for the top three finishers in age categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 and over.
