24th Annual Race for Open Space

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

This year’s Race For Open Space will be held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025. This 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles) race or 2-mile walk attracts serious runners, casual joggers, walkers, and those who are simply avid conservation supporters. Proceeds from the Race will go to support the Foundation’s mission to steward and protect the island’s invaluable open spaces.

📅 Schedule

• Friday, June 27th: 10am - 4pm Bib pick up at 118 Cliff Road
• Saturday, June 28th:
• 7:00am - 8:00am: Pre-registration/bib pick up
• 8:00am: 10K Runners Start
• 8:05am: Walkers Start
• 8:10am: 5K Runners Start

🌍 Location

The race will take place at 220 Milestone Road, Nantucket, MA.
