24th Annual Manatee River Run 5 Mile RRCA-FL State Championship

Reminders:

• Registration: You may still register now through 7:45 a.m. on race morning. All registration is done here on RunSignUp.
• Packet Pick Up: Final pre-race packet pick up is Friday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at New Balance University, 315 N Cattlemen Road, Sarasota.
• Race Morning Packet Pick Up: Race morning packet pick up is 6:45-7:45 a.m. only. If you arrive after 7:45 a.m. you will miss the start of the race.
• Parking Information: It is a half mile walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the park and then another 100 meters to the starting line once inside the park.

Event Information:

The 24th Annual Manatee River Run 5 Mile RRCA-FL State Championship is hosted by the Bradenton Runners Club and will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. at beautiful Emerson Point Preserve on Snead Island in Palmetto, Florida.

• Open to All: The Manatee River Run 5 Mile RRCA-FL State Championship is open to all ages and abilities. Please see FAQ below (scroll all the way down) for complete details.
• Event Benefits: This event benefits the Bradenton Runners Club scholarship program, benefitting young distance runners in our area.
• Timing: 5 Mile run starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp. Chip timed by Florida Road Race Management. Timing ends at 9:30 a.m.
• Member Discount: Bradenton Runners Club members save $5 on online registration (discount automatically applied using your RunSignUp account at checkout).

Race Day Registration:

Race day registration is online on RunSignUp only. Save time and money by registering online before race day. Please scroll down for details about the two packet pick up opportunities prior to the race.

• Packet Pick Up on Race Day: You may also pick up your packet on race day in the parking lot but if you do choose race day pick up, please arrive early as you have a half mile walk to the starting line.
• Parking Directions: From I-75, take exit 224 and then to US 301 south. Continue west on US 301 crossing US 41 through Palmetto.
• Access Route: US 301 becomes 10th Street. Continue on 10th Street West to Snead Island.
• Final Directions: Just after the bridge to Snead Island (in front of the Bradenton Yacht Club) turn right onto Tarpon Road, go north one block and make first left onto 17th St W. Parking will be on your left. There is no parking inside the park.
