24th Annual Manatee River Run 5 Mile RRCA-FL State Championship

The Bradenton Runners Club hosts this event on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. at beautiful Emerson Point Preserve on Snead Island in Palmetto, Florida.

Event Details

• Open to All: The Manatee River Run 5 Mile RRCA-FL State Championship is open to all ages and abilities.
• Scholarship Program: This event benefits the Bradenton Runners Club scholarship program, benefitting young distance runners in our area.
• Chip Timing: 5 Mile run starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp, chip timed by Florida Road Race Management. Timing ends at 9:30 a.m.
• Discount for Members: Bradenton Runners Club members save $5 on online registration (discount automatically applied using your RunSignUp account at checkout).

Registration Information

• Online Only: Race day registration is online on RunSignUp only.
• Save Time: Save time and money by registering online before race day.
• Packet Pickup: Two packet pick up opportunities prior to the race: you may also pick up your packet on race day but please arrive early as there is a half mile walk to the starting line.
• Parking Lot Access: There is no parking inside the park: parking will be on your left after turning onto 17th St W.

Directions to Race Parking Lot

• Route: From I-75, take exit 224 and proceed to US 301 south.
• Continue West: Continue west on US 301 crossing US 41 through Palmetto. US 301 becomes 10th Street.
• Snead Island: Continue on 10th Street West to Snead Island, turn right onto Tarpon Road just after the bridge.
• Parking Instructions: Go north one block, make the first left onto 17th St W. Parking will be on your left.
