Irish 5k (Race 1 Tour de Patrick)

ABOUT THE RACE & TOUR DE PATRICK

Join us for the Irish 5K on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 in Pawtucket, RI. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with loved ones and run or walk this festive 5K. Don't forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids.

After the race, meet us at Azul Tequila Bar (formally Murphy’s Law) located at 2 George St. in Pawtucket. The owners of AZUL will rename the bar back to Murphy’s Law for race day only! Enjoy LIVE MUSIC as you enjoy time with friends. CASH/CARD BAR. Please Bring ID.

UPGRADE TO THE TOUR DE PATRICK 5K SERIES

The Irish 5K also serves as the first leg of our 3-Race Series, the Tour de Patrick, which celebrates St. Patrick's Day with three races in three cities in Rhode Island throughout the month of March. Participants can sign up for one, two or all three races!

• Bonus Gift: Participants who run all three will receive a bonus gift as well as a finisher’s medal upon completion at the Shamrock Shuffle 5K on March 29th.
• Packet Pickup: Participants in the full Tour will pick up all three race numbers, three t-shirts and the Tour de Patrick socks at the Irish 5K Packet Pickup.
• Races: The Tour de Patrick 5k series include the Irish 5k in Pawtucket, RI on March 7, 2026, the Shoreham Bank St. Pat's 5k in Providence on March 21, 2026, and the Ivy Rehab/Elite Physical Therapy Shamrock Shuffle 5k in North Kingstown, RI on March 29, 2026.

EVENTS

• Kids Leprechaun Run: Approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under. Parents may run with their children. 10:30 am Start Time.
• 5K Run/Walk: As always, walkers are welcome. Please Note: no pets allowed and strollers must start in the back for safety reasons. 11am Start Time.

ENTRY FEES

• Irish 5K Only: $34 to 12/31/2025, $36 1/1/2025 to 1/31/2026, $38 2/1/2025 to 3/6/2026, $45 Race Day Walk Up Registration. Online registration closes at 8p.m. on 3/6/2026. T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations.
• Full Tour de Patrick: $93 to 12/31/2025, $99 1/1/2025 to 1/31/2026, $105 2/1/2025 to 3/6/2026. Save $6 when you register for two 5ks or $9 when you register for all three 5ks at the same time online. The online option closes on 3/6/2026 at 8p.m.
• Kids Leprechaun Run Irish 5k ONLY: $15 to 12/31/25, $16 1/1/2025 - 1/31/2026, $17 2/1/2025 - 3/6/2026, $20 Race Weekend Walk Up Registration.
• Kids Leprechaun Run Tour de Patrick: $45 for all 3 Kids races, Race Day $55.

Sorry no refunds and no pets allowed. Strollers must start in the back for safety reasons.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS

Pricing is the same as the Irish 5k and The Tour de Patrick series.

• If you are participating in the race virtually, we encourage you to pick up your race shirt from us at a Pre-Race Packet Pickup. If you cannot make it, we will mail your shirt to the address provided on RunSignUp AFTER race day.
• To submit your virtual results, visit RunRhody.com and select "Result" from the top navigation menu. Then select 2025 and the race name to submit your time.
• Virtual participation DOES count toward any of our race series, including the Run Rhody Grand Slam, the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, and the Tour de Patrick series.

Overall awards are scored on gun time. Age groups are scored by chip time.

Team Award: Prize will be awarded to the top overall team. Top 3 scores based on chip time. No limit on Team size. Online entry for Teams only.
