Irish 5k (Race 1 Tour de Patrick)

ABOUT THE RACE & TOUR DE PATRICK

Join us for the Irish 5K on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 in Pawtucket, RI. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with loved ones and run or walk this festive 5K. Don't forget the kids! Our kids race is open to children 12 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their kids.

After the race, meet us at Azul Tequila Bar (formally Murphy’s Law) located at 2 George St. in Pawtucket. The owners of AZUL will rename the bar back to Murphy’s Law for race day only! Enjoy LIVE MUSIC from RI’s top Irish band, The Garda Band. CASH BAR. Please Bring ID.

UPGRADE TO THE TOUR DE PATRICK 5K SERIES

The Irish 5K also serves as the first leg of our 3-Race Series, the Tour de Patrick, which celebrates St. Patrick's Day with three races in three cities in Rhode Island throughout the month of March. Participants can sign up for one, two or all three races!

• Special Rewards: Participants who run all three will receive a pair of Tour de Patrick knee socks as well as a finisher’s medal upon completion at the Shamrock Shuffle 5K on March 29th.
• Packet Pickup: Participants in the full Tour will pick up all three race numbers, three t-shirts and the Tour de Patrick socks at the Irish 5K Packet Pickup.

IRISH 5K RACE INFO

• Date: Saturday, March 7th, 2026
• Time: 10:30am Kids Run // 11am 5K Run/Walk
• Location: Roosevelt Ave (near Main Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860

EVENTS

• Kids Leprechaun Run: Approximately 1/4 mile for ages 12 and under. Parents may run with their children. 10:30 am Start Time.
• 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 Miles. As always, walkers are welcome. Please Note: no pets allowed and strollers must start in the back for safety reasons. 11am Start Time.

ENTRY FEES

• Irish 5K Only: $33 to 12/31/2025, $35 1/1/2025 to 1/31/2026, $37 2/1/2025 to 3/6/2026, $42 Race Day Walk Up Registration. *Online registration closes at 8p.m. on 3/6/2026. T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations.
• Kids Leprechaun Run: $17 to 12/31/25, $18 1/1/2025 – 1/31/2026, $19 2/1/2025 – 2/28/2026, $20 Race Weekend Walk Up Registration.
• Full Tour de Patrick (3 Races): $90 to 12/31/2025, $96 1/1/2025 to 1/31/2026, $102 2/1/2025 to 2/28/2026. --- SAVE $6 when you register any two 5ks at the same time online.
  --- SAVE $9 when you register for all three 5ks at the same time online.
  *The online option to participate in all three Tour races closes on 3/6/2026 at 8p.m.

Awards

• Individual Awards: Top 3 Overall, Winners (Under 19), Winners (age 20-29), Winners (age 30-39), Winners (age 40-49), Winners (age 50-59), Winners (age 60-69), Winners (age 70+).
• Scoring: Individual awards are scored on gun time. Age groups scored by chip time.
• Team Award: Prize will be awarded to the top overall team. Top 3 score based on chip time.
• Team Entry: No limit on Team size: online entry for Teams only.
