🌱 Beneficiary

• Program: EASTERN INDIGO SNAKE SAFE
• Goal: Contribute to the conservation of this iconic snake species through captive breeding, rearing, and reintroduction into areas where it has disappeared.
• Habitat: The eastern indigo snake favors longleaf pine ecosystems, but only 6% of historical forests in the southeastern US exist.
• Threats: Fire suppression, development, and logging are primary threats affecting longleaf pine habitats.

• $35: November 13 - January 11

• $45: Packet Pickup Friday and Race Day

🕒 Schedule of Events

• Pre-Race: Bib/Shirt Pick Up and Registration on February 21st, 2025, from 12 - 4 PM at the Anastasia Island Conservation Center.
• Race Day: Bib/Shirt Pick Up and Registration from 6:00 - 7:45 AM at St. Augustine Alligator Farm.
• Race Start: 8:00 AM on February 23rd, 2025.
• Registration: Caps at 500 entries.

⚠️ Refund Policy

There are no refunds. In the event of inclement weather, emergency, or a natural disaster, the Alligator Farm reserves the right to cancel or postpone the race. In the event of cancellation or postponement, there will be no refunds.

🏆 Awards

Overall Male and Female finishers and the top three runners in the age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older.

Award ceremony held by 9:00 AM on race day. Special awards provided to overall winners and some prizes may be awarded randomly!

Beautiful and unique t-shirt, robust finisher's medal, post-race refreshments, and a comped child's admission ticket to the Alligator Farm for every adult ticket purchase. Availability and size only guaranteed to those who register by February 1, 2025.

⏱️ Race Timing and Scoring

The race will be professionally timed and scored by RaceSmith, Inc. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, visible, and unaltered. Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com.

🗺️ Course

Runners and walkers are welcome as we start this event at the world-famous St. Augustine Alligator Farm, on Anastasia Island, run through the neighborhood of Davis Shores, and finish back at the Alligator Farm. Strollers and costumes are allowed.

There will be water stations at the start, 1 mile, and finish. Digital time clock will be viewable at the finish. This is a 3K USATF Certified Course # FL20012JK.

🚗 Parking

There will be free parking at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm for the entire day. The start and finish of the race will be at the Alligator Farm.
