Distance: A fun 5 Mile run that combines the two fantastic trails built by the Skagit Trail Builders: Pumphouse Trail and Hill Creek Trail.
Trail Connection: These two trails are currently just connected by the Pumphouse Bridge (soon to be connected by a middle bridge which will NOT be part of this run).
Trail Access: 2.75 miles of trails in the Wild accessed by a one mile grassy access road… never mind about that grassy road. Over a half mile of the grassy road has been replaced by gravel.
🐻 Wildlife
Variety: Bears, bobcats, cougars, eagles, Coho salmon, bald eagles, Red Tail hawks, Great Blue Herons, beavers, and more make this one wild local trail system.
Seasonal Note: But not to worry, it is winter!
❄️ Winter Trail Run
Trail Conditions: Also WILD due to the nature of a trail run in February. The ground can be frozen and an ankle twister.
Terrain Challenges: Roots and rocks can become mountains if tired.
