Dear Runner/Walker,
Join Friends of Stark Parks for The Canalway Classic Spring Peeper Saturday, March 28, 2026 starting at 8:30 a.m. in St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. This family-friendly walk/run 2 mile, 5 mile, or combo 2 + 5 mile race is a major fundraiser for Friends of Stark Parks.
Event Purpose
Money raised from this event allows Friends of Stark Parks to support a variety of supplemental projects in Stark Parks:
- Wildlife Center fence: Important infrastructure for wildlife safety.
- Wildlife Center floor scrubber: Essential equipment for maintaining cleanliness.
- Chip and seal machines: Equipment for preserving park trails.
- parkrun box/fund: Supports local running initiatives.
- Summer Serenades: Community events promoting outdoor enjoyment.
- Sippo Valley Trail Bridge: Improving access to trails for all visitors.
