Dear Runner/Walker,
Join Friends of Stark Parks for The Canalway Classic Spring Peeper Saturday, April 12, 2025, starting at 8:30 a.m. in St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton. This family-friendly walk/run 2 mile, 5 mile, or combo 2 + 5 mile race is a major fundraiser for Friends of Stark Parks.
🌳 Purpose of the Event
Money raised from this event allows Friends of Stark Parks to support a variety of supplemental projects in Stark Parks:
- Wildlife Center fence: Supports the protection of wildlife.
- Wildlife Center floor scrubber: Keeps the facilities clean and safe.
- Chip and seal machines: Helps maintain park paths and roads.
- parkrun box/fund: Provides resources for community running events.
- Summer Serenades: Offers summer entertainment in the parks.
- Sippo Valley Trail Bridge: Enhances trail connectivity and usability.
