Race Overview

Important Registration Information

• Advance Registration: Required in advance: no day-of registration available.
• Shirt Availability: Registrations after February 14 are not guaranteed a race shirt.
• Included with Registration: Custom race bib, finisher medal, goodie bag.

Race Course and Timing

• Chip-Timed: 10K and 5K events will be chip-timed.
• Start Times:
  • 10K: 7:30 AM
  • 5K Run: 7:40 AM
  • 5K Walk: 7:45 AM
  • 1K Kids Run: 8:15 AM
• Age Categories: Recognizing top three male and female finishers in each category (19 and younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

Registration Fees

• Before January 31, 2025: $30 - 10K, $25 - 5K Walk/Run, $20 - 1K Kids
• Feb. 1 to Race Day: $35 - 10K, $30 - 5K Walk/Run, $25 - 1K Kids
• Virtual Option: 10K $40 / 5K $35 / 1K Kids $30 (before January 31, 2025)
• Virtual Costs: 10K $45 / 5K $40 / 1K Kids $35 (after February 1, 2025)

Packet Pick-Up

• Location: San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield, 1 Monument Circle, La Porte, TX 77571.
• Dates & Times:
  • Thursday, Feb. 27 – 12 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Friday, Feb. 28 – 12 PM - 5:00 PM
• Event Day Pickup: Available but early arrival is encouraged.
• End Time: Packet Pick-Up on event day will conclude at 7:30 AM.

Participation Details

• Ages: All ages can participate in the 5K/10K, ages 2 and under free.
• Strollers: Allowed in the 5K/10K: please start at the back.
• 1K Kids Fun Run: Limited to children 12 and under: one parent may escort.
• Safety: If pushing a stroller, be cautious around other children.
