Event Purpose
- Celebrate: Celebrate fitness, community, and a great cause!
- Honoring: The St. Patty's 5K and Fitness Mile are dedicated to honoring Amy Tungate, the beloved co-founder of Uniontown CrossFit, mother, athlete, and local third-grade teacher, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021.
- Proceeds: Proceeds will benefit Amy's Army for PanCAN: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
- Legacy: Continuing Amy’s legacy of health, wellness, and community spirit.
Race Highlights
- Fast & Flat 5K Course: Perfect for runners, walkers, and ruckers through Uniontown and South Union Township.
- Unique Fitness Mile: Test your endurance with four 1/4-mile legs paired with exercises (Burpees, Air-squats, Overhead press, Sit ups, Lunges and Pushups) — a great way to continue your New Year’s resolutions!
- Dual Event Challenge: Compete in both the 5K and Fitness Mile to earn the title of FITTEST Male and Female in Fayette County.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:30-8:45 AM: Packet Pickup & Registration at Uniontown Track
- 9:00 AM: Start of 5K Run/Walk/Ruck
- 9:10 AM: Start of Fitness Mile
Awards & Incentives
- 5K Awards: Top 3 Overall Male/Female and Age Group Awards for runners: 13-under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 up
- Top Walkers: Top 10 Male and Top 10 Female Walkers.
- Fitness Mile Awards: Awards for the Top 3 Male and Female competitors.
- Ruck Division: Awards for the Top 3 Male and Female competitors (Rucksack/backpack/weighted vest must be 45 lbs for men and 35 lbs for women, verified before and after the race).
Fundraiser Incentive
- Challenge: Raise $250 or more for PanCAN through our website and receive FREE registration.
- Special Awards: Special awards for FITTEST Male and Female competitors in Fayette County!
Race Perks
- T-Shirts: Guaranteed for participants registered by Tuesday, March 10. First-come, first-serve afterward.
- Green Beer & Afterparty: Celebrate your race with a pour of green beer (21+ only) or soda, courtesy of Mom Maruca’s, where the awards ceremony and St. Patty’s afterparty will be held.

- Early Packet Pickup: Friday, March 20, 5-7 PM at Mom Maruca’s.
- Parking: Available at Uniontown High School.
