About this race
Event Overview
Join GCXC Racing, Santa, and hundreds of runners and walkers to fill the streets with holiday spirit for the fifth annual "Run Santa Run 5K & Reindeer Ramble" taking place at Rosenbaum Family House in Morgantown, West Virginia on Sunday, December 6th, 2026. Participants are encouraged to dress "festive"!
Registration Details
- 5K Registration Includes: fleece blanket, finisher medal, Santa hat, custom bib and swag bag. Optional long sleeves and fleece hoodies also available for pre-order during registration.
- Reindeer Ramble Registration Includes: finisher medal, custom bib and reindeer.
Race Schedule
- Reindeer Ramble: The 1/2-mile Reindeer Ramble begins at 8:30am.
- 5K Start Time: The 5K run/walk will begin at 9:00am.
- Course Details: The chip-timed 5K begins and finishes at Rosenbaum Family House and takes participants through parts of the West Virginia University (WVU) campus. The Reindeer Ramble starts/finishes at Rosenbaum Family House and takes participants in front of WVU.
Awards
5K Awards (Run Santa Run mittens) will be given to the top three overall males and females and the top three in the following age groups:
- Age Groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Up.
Donations
Donations made during registration will go directly towards Rosenbaum Family House.
