5th Annual Kickin It For Katy 5k run and 1.2 mile Walk

Join us for the Firth Annual Kickin it for Katy 5K & 1.3 mile walk for suicide awareness.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 25th 2026 and be part of a meaningful community event on the beautiful campus of Fairmont State University in Fairmont WV.

🕘 Schedule

• Registration: 9 am
• 5k Run: 10 am
• Walk: 10:02 am
• Festival: "Katy Fest" will open at 10 am.

🎉 Festival Activities

This is a family friendly event that welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels to run, walk or just come together in support of suicide awareness. In addition to the 5K and walk, enjoy a festival packed with fun activities including:

• Live Music: Enjoy performances throughout the day.
• Awareness Tables: Resources on suicide, addiction, veterans, etc.
• National Guard Contest: Pull up contest for participants.
• Food Trucks: A variety of cuisines available.
• Basket Raffle: Huge basket raffle with exciting prizes.
• Face Painting: Fun for the kids!
• Games & More: Activities for everyone!

All proceeds go to benefit the Kaitlynn Jade scholarship fund and the Marion County Humane Society.
