Event Overview

Looking for a FAST fall half marathon?! Join us on Saturday, October 31st for a fast half that could boost you to your next PR!

Start Times

• Half Marathon Start Time: 7:30am
• Kids Mile Start Time: 8:15am

Race Course

• Half Marathon Course: The course is straight, flat, and fast making it the perfect chance to hit your new PR! The race will start on the rail trail behind the Seneca Center. Participants will head towards Point Marion/Sheepskin Rail Trail on the trail for 6.55 miles before turning around and finishing where they began.
• Pavement and Terrain: The course begins on pavement for just shy of 3 miles before turning to crushed limestone.
• Views: Participants can expect shade and a beautiful view of the Monongahela River as the sun rises and the fog lifts.
• Kids Race Course: The course is simple: out and back on the rail trail for .5 miles towards the Core Arboretum before turning around.

Course Safety

• Pets: Dogs are not permitted in the race.
• Time Limit: There is a 4 hour time limit.
• Nutrition: Gels will be provided on the race course, as well as water at Mile-2, 3, 5, 8, 10, and 11.
• Swag: The first 245 people registered will receive swag.

Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards will be offered to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
• Age Group Awards: There will be first place age group awards for both male and female finishers in categories including 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 & up.
• Magp: The Morgantown Running Halloween Half Marathon is race #17 in the NCWV series.

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Online registration will close on October 24th.
• In-Person Registration: You can register in-store during regular business hours with cash or check only, as well as during packet pick-up.
• Early Packet Pick-Up: Early pick-up will be on Friday, October 30th at Morgantown Running from 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: You may also pick up your packet on Saturday morning before the race starting at 6:30am.

Parking

You may park in the Seneca Center parking lot. Please do not park in the Garage under the Seneca Village Apartments as those spaces are for residents only.
