About this race
WVU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic 5K Monster Dash
Lace up your sneakers and bring your best costume! Join us for a Halloween 5K fundraiser supporting the WVU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, presented in partnership with the Scottish Rite, the Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and supported by the WVU chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).
In partnership with the Scottish Rite, we serve West Virginia children through clinic scholarships and free summer reading, spelling, and writing camps. Every registration and donation helps a child build the communication skills they need to thrive.

- Check-In & Bib Pickup: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
- Location: Track behind the Allied Health Sciences Building (AHSB), Evansdale campus, near the Student Recreation Center

- 10:30 AM: Haunted Hustle 5K for runners
- 11:30 AM: Zombie Walk 5K for walkers
- 12:30 PM: Goblin Dash for kids under 12

Registration
$20 per participant
Kids 12 and under run free!
Donations will also be accepted on race day. Come for the race, stay for the fun, and help support speech, language, and hearing services and the training of future clinicians here in West Virginia!
