Fairchance Construction Octoberfest 5k Run/Walk and Mom Maruca's Beer Mile & Beer Mile Relay

Event Overview

The Trophy Husband.run Race Series is proud to host the Octoberfest 5K and Mom Marucas Beer Mile and Beer Mile Relay to help benefit Uniontown Area Track and Field.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup/Registration: 7:30-8:45 for 5K: 7:45-9:30 for Beer Mile.
• 5K Run/Walk Start Time: 9:00 AM.
• Beer Mile Start Time: 10:15 AM.
• Beer Mile Relay: To follow Beer Mile. Laurel Highlands Brewing is creating a Beer Mile Blonde exclusive for this race.

Awards

• 5K Awards: Top Runners and age group awards for both 5K Run and Walk.
• Beer Mile Awards: Top three Male and Female participants.
• Relay Awards: Top three Relay Teams.
• Costume Prize: Prize for best Bavarian/Octoberfest Costume.

Kids Event

New Event! Kids Root Beer Run at 1/2 mile for ages 14 and under. Kids will receive a souvenir root beer mug!

Registration Details

• T-shirts: Guaranteed with signups by Thursday, September 26. After that, they will be subject to first come, first serve.
• Beer Glass: Hi-Quality Beer Glass to the first 200 to enter.
• Beer Pour: One pour of Beer Mile Blonde for those over 21.
• Participant Age: Beer Mile Participants must be 21 years old. Proper ID will be required.

Beer Mile Details

• Athena Pour: This year features an 8 oz Athena Pour for women in the beer mile.
• Designated Driver: Full Beer Mile runners must have a designated driver: Relay participants do not.
• Relay Structure: Beer Mile relay will consist of four 1/4 mile legs, one beer per leg. Teams must have 4 paid entrants to participate.
• Corporate Teams: Must have 4 members and will receive race day promotions and a separate award for the corporate winner. Contact Joe at coachjoe@thetrophyhusband.run to complete registration.

Parking Information

Parking will be available at the New South Union Rec Center and Bailey Park, located on the 200 Block of Pennsylvania Ave, Uniontown.

Early Packet Pickup

Early Packet Pickup will take place on Friday Night, October 4, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Mom Marucas. Start your Oktoberfest early with High Carb Specials (Pierogis, Poutine, Pretzels, and Pizza). Live music starts at 7 PM. Saturday, October 5: Pickup starting at 7 AM.
