Eva K Bowlby Library 5K Turkey Trot

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Type: The Eva K Bowlby Library Turkey Trot is the 9th Annual 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children's Fun Run.
• Mission Support: The event proceeds will provide needed support to meet the library's mission.
• Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025.
• Location: The event will begin at the Bowlby Library Gazebo, 311 N West Street, Waynesburg, PA.

📅 Schedule of Events

• 9:00 AM: 1K Pet Walk.
• 9:15 AM: 1K Children's Fun Run.
• 9:30 AM: 5K Walk.
• 9:45 AM: 5K Run.

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Best Dressed Pet: A prize will be awarded for the best dressed pet.
• Age Category Awards: Top 3 male and female walkers/runners in each age category will receive awards.
• Ceremony: Award ceremony will be held immediately following the race at the Gazebo.
• Pet Policy: All pets must be on a leash.

🍂 Additional Activities

• Refreshments: Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
• Children's Activities: Other children's activities will take place inside the library.
• Donations: If you are unable to participate, click the "Donate" button at the top of the page.
• Virtual Participation: If you wish to participate virtually and receive a T-Shirt, select "Pardoned Turkey".

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Registration Deadline: T-Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed if registered by 10/27/25.
• Availability: T-Shirts will be given after 10/27/25 while supplies last, and requested sizes are not guaranteed.
• Pickup: Your T-Shirt can be picked up on race day at the library.
