The 9th Annual Eva K. Bowlby Library Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children's Fun Run

Event proceeds will provide needed support to meet the library's mission:

The Eva K. Bowlby Public Library connects the community with opportunities to enrich lives through empowerment, lifelong learning, and recreation while opening windows to the world and inspiring exploration and achievement.

WHEN & WHERE?

• Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025
• Location: Starting and finishing at the Bowlby Library Gazebo
• Registration: Inside the library
• Schedule:
  • 9:00 - 1K Pet Walk (all pets must be on a leash)
  • 9:15 - 1K Children’s Fun Run
  • 9:30 - 5K Walk
  • 9:45 - 5K Run

AWARDS

• Top Awards: Top 3 Male & Female 5K Runners & Walkers in each age category
• Award Ceremony: Held immediately following the race at the Gazebo
• 1K Children's Run: Medals for the top 3 in each Age Category
• Age Groups:
  • 5K Run & Walk: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
  • 1K Children’s Run: 1-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12

EVENT DETAILS

• Refreshments: Light snacks and refreshments will be provided
• Children's Activities: Other children's activities inside the library while parents participate
• Donations: If you are unable to participate but would like to donate, click the "Donate" button at the top of the page
• Virtual Participation: If you would like to participate virtually and receive a T-Shirt, select "Pardoned Turkey"

T-SHIRT INFORMATION

• PICK UP: T-Shirts can be picked up on race day at the library
• Registration Deadline: T-Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed if registered by 11/3/25
• Supplies: T-Shirts will be given after 11/3/25 while supplies last
• Size Guarantee: Requested sizes are not guaranteed after 11/3/25
