Eva K Bowlby Library 5K Turkey Trot

🎉 The 9th Annual Eva K. Bowlby Library Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1K Children’s Fun Run

Event proceeds will provide needed support to meet the library's mission:

The Eva K. Bowlby Public Library connects the community with opportunities to enrich lives through empowerment, lifelong learning, and recreation while opening windows to the world and inspiring exploration and achievement.

📍 WHEN & WHERE?

The event will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, beginning & finishing at the Bowlby Library Gazebo.

• 9:00 - 1K Pet Walk: all pets must be on a leash
• 9:15 - 1K Children’s Fun Run: ages 1-12
• 9:30 - 5K Walk:
• 9:45 - 5K Run:

👶 Free Childcare Available

with children's activities, while parents run or walk in the 5K.

🏆 AWARDS

AWARDS will be given to the top 3 Male & Female 5K Runners & 5K Walkers in each age category. The award ceremony will be held immediately following the race at the Gazebo. Medals are also given to the top 3 in each Age Category in the 1K Children’s Run.

• 5K Run & Walk Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• 1K Children's Run Age Groups: 1-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12

🍩 Light Snacks and Refreshments

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided as well as other children's activities inside the library while parents run or walk in the race.

💰 Donations

If you are unable to participate in the 5K Turkey Trot, but would still like to donate, you can click the "Donate" button at the top of the page and indicate your donation amount. If you are unable to participate in person or would like to participate virtually and would like a T-Shirt, select "Pardoned Turkey".

👕 T-SHIRTS

T-SHIRTS can be picked up on race day at the library.

!!!T-Shirts and sizes are only guaranteed if you are registered by 11/3/25!!!

T-Shirts will be given after 11/3/25 while supplies last, but requested sizes are not guaranteed.
